The league starts on 9th September with the following matches- Ittihad - Tawoon Qadsiya - Ittifaq Fateh - Najran Nasser - Raed Hilal - Hajer Ansar - Ahli Faysaly - Shabab
Some look over the favourites and preview of the league- 1-Hilal-Unbeaten in the last league have recruited all new foreigners with a new coach.Though this season they are not looking so promising with a unstable performance pre-season friendlies but it is the chance for youngsters to show up in the team. 2-Ittihad-Last season's runners up are beefed with two signings and the coach have remained the same.The team looks more attractive in midfield with likes of Mohd Noor,Fahad Anzi and Wendel Geraldo making up the strongest in the league. 3-Shabab-Finished fourth last season but made a strong come back after disastorous start.With a big name coach along with decent new players no one can write off this team at any time.
Jesus Christ, it's like the league has just sprung up on me. I'm hoping this season that whoever fills the relegation spots actually get relegated. No off field repreive or league expansion this year please. I can't predict who will win the league, but I will predict that Hajer and Ansar go back to where they came from.
Al Hilal won't be a threat in this season ... the competition is going to be between Ittihad & Shabab ... Rest of the teams will perform average with newly promoted teams getting relegated at the end of the season ...
The only problem Ittihad will be facing is that they will be having ACL commitments which will take the tolll on the players and the team may under perform either in ACL or in the league.
I will be rooting for Al-Hilal this year. Yoo Byung-Soo fighting!!~~ Also Al-Shabab since they have Server Djeparov. One of the best player to play for FC Seoul hope he can perform the same for Al-Shabab.
