I'm afriad FIFA will be too conservative about it. Not a good result or performance, but that actually was expected. Anyway playing against the best international teams is always welcomed.
Are the NT players serious when they say they are "upset" due to some sarcastic headlines in the newspapers? Has it become that important now? If they believe that they are selecting the right path, then no need to worry about some comments written by journalists, they should be professional and "ignore it" as what (interestingly) every player do when he receive any negative notes about his form.
I don't know how all of them have gone to Super-Sensitive mode. "You must be kidding me, I can't live with just 5 millions a year !"
^ now that you'v mentioned that , it's not relative to the subject at hand, which i don't know. people with high analytic mentality are super-hyper sensitive to the power of 3 . but they don't have analytic mentality, i don't think the Saudi players have any mentality.
The best thing Rijkaard now do is to build the current team which is available instead of digging of new players out which can be done by other coaches in KSA by formulation of B- team. The players are not getting used to each other and the tactics of Rijkaard. Take a set of 15-16 players and play them atleast three friendlies and use the same tactics in all the games despite of any result. When the players will start clicking and stick to the plans you will find the differences. The only problem now is the squad is always changing and the new players are not able to coup up with the plans and with there fellow team mates. Plus there is over reliance in young players which should not happen.
I agree. But who would you pick for the said number of players? I can see only few players that you could build a team around them. Housawi and Taiseer, are the ones that I feel I can trust, and they still have a 3 or 4 years in their pockets. The rest all have their ups and downs, injuries...
The best can be for now- Waleed Abdullah Osamaah Hawaswi Osamaah Muwallad Hassan Muaz Abdullah Zori Tayseer Jasem Saud Kariri Ahmed Fraidy Abdul Rahim Jizawi Mohd Noor Nasser Shamrani Naif Hazzzazi Mohd Sahlawi Yousef Salem Hamad Al Hamad Yayha Sehri Hamdan AL Hamdan Ibrahim Hazazri Mishal Saeed
Interesting list, although I have my reservations about Zori, Noor, and Kariri. Zori is Zori. Kariri IMO start to look passing his prime, while Noor almost certainly won't be available or performing at his usual level in 2 years time, so I don't think sticking with him right now would do the NT much favor unless Rijkard wants an expierenced player that the other young lads may learn a thing or two from his presence on the field. And by the way, is it just me or Ahmed Autaif is really overrated? At his first appearances with Shabab he seemed to be the talent to go for, but I don't see any improvement from that time on.
Interesting show on Rotana Khalijia about sport investments and related topics, they're hosting Abdullah Bin Musaad. I respect very much this guy.
This is the best thing that Saudi Arabia needs after win against Congo ... A tough Group to Qualify to Asian Cup 2015 ... Hope fully Saudi Arabia can have a postive result against Argentina in November 2012 friendly game and then build on from their ...
