This needs to happen. No excuses. Round of 16. 2:30 Eastern (11:30 Pacific) on a Saturday. Coming off the two most exciting games in US Soccer history. I don't care who sets these up but they need to happen. This is a great chance for soccer in this country. Plus I want to go to one in either Baltimore or D.C.
I heard Dupont Circle will be doing something in D.C. Anyone know how crowded it was for the England game?
I doubt it can be arranged quickly, because it is Philadelphia, but a repeat of the Fado block party in Philly would be very nice.
If it's that crowded maybe someone could organize something on the mall. (If that is even legal/safe)
