Sarah Hagen should be in USWNT camps. Why Pia does not bring this kid in more is beyond me. She is a big presents on the field. IMO, they should be grooming her to replace Wambach.
Also IMO, grooming Sarah Hagen would pay off bigger dividends in the future then Sydney LeRoux.

But why would I expect Pia to care and groom our future players? She has her same ole, same ole favorites.

I think she will be the replacement for Abby one day.
I'm hoping she gets valuable experience in Germany and the US coaches start bringing her in the senior camp.

I've watched Sarah Hagen in college and this kid can play. She is 5'11" and has a rocket for a shot. She is difficult to mark because of her size and mobility. I have seen her turn on a dime with the goal at her back and rocket a shot in the upper corner.

I'm hoping that after these Olympics we are done looking at the geriatrics on our USWNT, and coaches favorites.

I'm also looking forward to the day that Pia will leave the USWNT so we can get a coach who will really open up this National Team to competition and not just play favorites and past their prime players. And really develop the future of our USWNT.

But that is exactly what was said before the last two time USWNT changed coach. And the result was a lot of new faces called in to camp, a few of them actually making the team but after 1-2 years the team was pretty much set, except for injuries, for the rest of the coach tenure.
