Watching the highlights right now. Damião looks like was involved in some build up to chances. Cicero and his headers....lol.

Ld had a real quiet 1st half but I can't fault him they had 5 at the back and they were conceding the wings to Thiago ribeiro and geovanio who once again didn't really put anything in the box of note. The runs were looking crisp and confident the whole game, on 2 separate occasions he was ignored when a simple 10 yard threw ball would of played him on. I can't wait to see him against Sao Paulo I have a good feeling about it.

@anunesrocha: Santos perdeu mobilidade e variação de jogadas com Damião. Time de Oswaldo joga em função de seu camisa nove. E Cícero não é articulador.

not really... damiao was good today. Couldn't have made better runs and when he got his chance it was a great leap and header, Rogerio just made a good save. He must have not seen Damiao scorching Antonio Carlos and Caio

How is he going to even configure this lineup? Aranha; Cicinho, Neto, Jubal e Eugenio Mena; Arouca, Cícero e Gabigol; Geuvânio, Thiago Ribeiro e Leandro Damião.

Rildo with his first start and Oswaldo really did use a 4-2-4.

Damiao with a nice finish. It looks like he is starting to find rhythm again.

Crazy match but pretty ugly. Are any of you worried about the defense for the Palmeiras classico and playoffs? The cb position is a mess especially with Oswaldo's tactics.

David Braz played today? How was he? I saw he was in the lineup during the week.

He was better than Jubal for sure, I thought he was pretty good considering how exposed the back 4 is. He had one bad challenge that resulted in a yellow close to the area. He also came on as a sub a few games back and he kind of sucked. I hope he plays against palmeiras though.

So much for my David Braz optimism.

Damiao was terrible. Osvaldo's Yuri substitution might have saved us going to penalties.

Giva should just hand in a transfer/loan request and ask to go to Ponte or Portuguesa- It's inevitable. I wasn't happy with Lucas Lima at all along with Cardozo and Yuri.

If they are offering close to what was invested, I'd bite....

@lancenet: Santos recebe sondagem europeia, mas dá confiança para Damião ficar http://t.co/n4gLX3amYr

Inter recebe Top de Marketing da ADVB por venda de Damião ao Santos

    http://obairrista.com/esportes/2014...keting-da-advb-por-venda-de-damiao-ao-santos/

"“Pelo valor da venda de Damião, por toda a negociação e por terem convencido os dirigentes santistas a pagar e crer que o atacante seria um excelente investimento em marketing é que Giovani Luigi, dirigentes colorados e toda torcida do Inter recebem o Top de Marketing 2014 da ADVB”."

"Elegante, Giovani Luigi dedicou o prêmio aos dirigentes santistas.

    - Sem eles esse prêmio não seria possível. É nosso, mas também é de vocês, santistas – disse Luigi."

ps: O Bairrista is an "
anecdote" newspaper with fake news, kinda like the site The Onion. However, this fake news is spot on haha. I still can´t believe Santos paid Inter for Damião, who was NOT playing anything at Inter since Oscar left.

He also had a preexisting injury too which will cause him to miss time now.
