Santos building another super team. Strong contender for the Paulistao.

I can't wait to see how oswaldo uses Montillo today.

Meh can't expect much from those first games in the season, we clearly lacked match fitness. Gabigol could be very good if he learns to keep it simple.

I was happy with the performance although there was way to much space in our midfield even in the 1st half before the tired legs hit.

Don't think we should draw any conclusions until about round 6. This is basically pre-season.

if the first 6 weeks were "preseason" people wouldn't be losing there jobs around brazil in the state championships.

I apologize if anyone had to tune in and watch Bruno peres play Volante lol. Audax really should have killed that match numerous times. Rafinha was amazing for Audax but it was ridiculous how many people he beat off the dribble. I think he created 4 or 5 clear cut chances just by himself. Leandrinho and Geovanio were terrible.. I'll cut geovanio some slack but leandrinho isn't good enough at this level. The deeper he plays the worse he is due to him giving away the ball and being consistently muscled out of challenges.

The brilliance of the FPF. I paid attention to the Copinha game more and then kinda watched the end of the senior team's game.

letting Montillo go and trying to sign Diego in his place could be a huge mistake...

Funny seeing some fan reactions on Rildo:

Like those other options are convincing....

    Is that you, lawson? :p

    This one cracked me up....

did they really have to go there with the Maikon Leite jab... And the problem with Santos fans is they overate young talent like crazy, as long as the player comes from the youth system.

It seems like a lot of Santos fans are sick of Cicero and Eduardo Uram. I'm the biggest Cicero fan there is but i'm even getting a bit annoyed by the wage demands and him possibly being transferred out. Then the punch in the gut that Montillo is leaving and oswaldo was saying we'll be fine with Lucas Lima and Serginho lol... Then the Neilton drama keeps going on..

Aranha; Cicinho, Neto, Gustavo Henrique e Eugenio Mena; Alan Santos, Arouca e Cícero; Jorge Eduardo, Gabigol e Thiago Ribeiro.

Jorge Eduardo.........I know it's early in the season but Jorge Eduardo starting in a classico is preposterous.

Rildo hasn't been registered or is he not in game shape? What about Damião?

Damaio's registration was in Europe and he isn't 100 percent fitness yet. They didn't mention if Rildo has even trained yet.

First very good game I've seen Arouca play in over a year. Corinthians did waste a lot of chances.

Yeah, was a bit stunned seeing that from Arouca. I haven't seen him play like that in 2 years.

Guerrero was pretty wasteful with his chances.
