Waht do you think about Jonathan Bottinelli?

Is he a good defender and is he ready for a transfer to Europe?

allright sorry my compouter broke. ok ropmagnoli got injured a couple of times, and the last time happend to be the worst he never really got to be the player that he once was, but the problem with argentine soccer is that we need to sell everything so he ddint have the time to really recuperate and show the player he used to be, and bottinelli is a great defender i woundt say europe yet i think zabaleta will be the most likely player to leave and since alfaro is the new coach many changes will happend hopefully since were reaching our 100 years and we dont have a libertadores.

Here is another article on DC United and San Lorenzo - this one mentions having an informal agreement where players can be loaned and work out with each other. Plus it mentions potential interest in a few younger defenders (other than Walter Garcia) who have yet to make many first team appearances.

Payne has said the club is most interested in an unspecified young defender, believed to be with the struggling San Lorenzo club, but the trio plans to attend at least three league matches and focus on several players. San Lorenzo, based in Buenos Aires, will host Lanus on Saturday.

Late last year United signed Argentine midfielder Christian Gomez, a move that helped turn around the season and propel the club to its fourth MLS title.

United has an informal working relationship with San Lorenzo, which could lead to United taking a player on loan or, during the MLS offseason, sending D.C. players there for workouts.

With MLS's limited budgets, Kasper said United almost certainly won't be able to acquire Walter Garcia, a highly regarded 21-year-old defender who seems headed for Europe, but it might be in the running for another young San Lorenzo player, such as Santiago Hoyos, 23, Hernan Mattiuzzo, 21, or Leandro Alvarez, 24.

Alright guys, im new to the board and glad i found it as theres not much info available in english about Los Cuervos. Ive just recently been getting into the team and know most of the comings and goings of the recent weeks but are there any rumours about whos joining us or leaving us? And any info on who the best players at the club are just now would be appreciated! What are the feelings for the coming season, are they positive?

    Cheers lads. :)

glad to have you on our side ok. where going through alot of changes,Juan Fernández, Sebastián Saja, Andrés Pérez, Mauricio Molina, y José Saturnino Cardozo. are the players that were bringing in for sure. saja is a return gk hies very good when he wants to if that makes any sence. cardozo is old but very skillful and will be as key player. lavezzi may be coming back but i personally dont think his worth it. as far as players out zAbaleta was our best player and he left for spain, paredes and ramirez left but they were worthless. i hope that we go after the turnament we kind of have the team for it,but a lot of work has to ber done.

Celso Esquivel- Did he get a bad injury?

    Jugo Molina y andres Perez?

    PAOLO MONTERO
