Dawkins and Chavez have been our most composed. Everyone else is getting excited whenever there is an opportunity.

Gordon has said that he'll limp through 90 minutes if called upon.

Baca is horrible. First goal, he just stood and watched and never challenged Keane. And he always just waited for the ball whether he was receiving the pass or to getting to second ball. No offensive contribution but his defensive lapse is obvious every game recently. May be he is thinking he is ready for Mexico League?

Take him out. Stick Dawkins inside, and put Salinas on the wing.

And Wondo, get your scoring touch back ASAP.

Cronin is fine. I'd add Jason to your list, however.

Buck Shaw Stadium's playing field is only one yard narrower than the toolbox's, so that in and of itself isn't likely the reason.

LA's higher individual skill in and of itself is, though, and Bernárdez's early exit certainly didn't help matters. :(

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! :(

We need to attack, with force. My fear is that Yallop will wait until the final 15 minutes before getting that sense of urgency... He has a bad habit of that...

Lalas is driving mt crazy with that lip fur, looks like he belongs in a 70's porno.
Anyone think we need Ballouchy? Or is he unfit? Don't even know who's on the bench but we need someone new in the midfield, Baca chases and works hard and is a solid centreal mid but we need to take a risk and get some more goal scoring ability in there.

He would have gotten sent off though. Victor was asking for another card.

We have to finish our chances and quit letting Keane counter us.

    Totally.
Dawkins has been exciting, and he has single-handedly brought the ball up to the opponent's box a number of times. But he's also part of the problem. The Quake's shape is terrible. There is no one to pass to - no one is in the place the ball holder is expecting his teammates to be. There is zero possession, and no flow on counterattacks. It's all Dawkins and Chavez dribbling and long diagonal crosses into the box.

If Wondo sinks that chance at 1-0 it's a diffrent game that's not forgot, he has the right more then anyone else to make a mistake given he's accomplishments but none the less, should've burried it.

San Jose had 65% of the possession. I can't believe it.

Nice run from Morrow, someome probably should've told him you're supposed to keep the ball within the white lines

People, please send the Quakes that magic Goonie energy! Don't give up!
And, forgive me, ( I worked 16 hours yesterday and early this morning opening ballots for the election, I'm tired) but does the goal we made in LA count or not?

Quake passing a lot better. Not LA level crispness and purpose, but better.
