For the last 30 years, Portuguese football has been largely dominated by one force:

    futebol clube do Porto

this emergence was brought about by various actors such as José Maria Pedroto
and most importantly: Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.

great management led to many glorious victories: but as we all know there was a dark side to this success as well

well now PDC is getting old, and we have witnessed a regression in Porto of late...
I mean last season was kind of "lucky" for them I guess (not trying to take away merit) but I have a feeling it will be the last league title of Porto for a while

now a new era is dawning: an era of blatant SL Benfica corruption

this league alone we have witnessed Benfica get carried by refs in an unprecedented manner, and rivals such as Sporting being thrown under the bus constantly by malicious refereeing.

anyways enjoy it now Benfiquistas, after years of crying and pointing the finger at PDC now you do the same thing and noone says anything... have fun Portugal loves you guys for playng with zero Portuguese players. Afterall, Portugal is a country full of self-haters (who have been brainwashed) and Benfica is latching onto this and running with it as their mantra.

The only hope now is that BDC's young leadership can at least develop Sporting into a righteous counter-balance to this disgusting filth and restore Portuguese pride, the pride in being Portuguese, the pride in our players and football, the self-belief, the shedding of guilt the Western left-wing globalist media imposes on us for our "colonial" past.

This mentlaity is what holds Portugal back , helps contrubute to the current financial crisis. this is why we need more Mourinho's and Ronaldo's : believe in yourselves and do the best you can do.

It is nice to see Sporting become successful again. However, when Porto reloads, it comes back stronger. If Jesus leaves Benfica the league is wide open next year.

What a idiotic statement to make.

March 26th, 2013 BDC became president of SCP. Someone still did not get the memo

Look what happened to Porto as soon as SCP rid itself of Porto scum influence.

    O Porto acabou.

SCP is the main reason for FCP demise, Benfica and FCP love each other and have long wished to maintain a duopoly and keep SCP down, but with BDC in charge the party is over.
