@elsalvadorfc has just tweeted unofficial confirmation of Turcios, Aguila and Finnish side RoPs coming to an agreement. Another Salvi in europe.

Victor confirms the move via twitter as well.

aren't Iraheta, Orellana & Alvarado of American nationalites and not Salvadoran players? Should Oliver Ayala from Pachuca juniors be included? as well as the boys in Cadiz & Sevilla juniors? (if they're still there).

btw what position does Ernesto Lopez play?

Iraheta was born in El Salvador. Orellana and Alvarado are born in America but are Salvadoran. They were officially included to the u-23.

Jaime Alas will hopefully be included in this soon!

PS. Why didn't Alania get promoted to the Premier League? I don't get it. Isn't the first 2 teams the ones who get promoted?

Iraheta is actually a FESA player born in El Salvador.

As far as which players to follow on this thread it can get a bit confusing. I mostly stick to TBR's criteria of capped players on professional teams not the youth squad players like Ayala. However I made an exception for the guys that are already being considered for the Olympic team squad (Orellena, Alvarado, Menjivar and Garcia) since I intend to track them for the next few months anyway I figure I might as well keep it all in 1 thread.

I'm not 100% but I think Orellana was born in El Salvador. Menjivar and Alvarado are both American born with salvadorian parents

Unfortunately the Russian 2nd division is a bit strange this season. Instead of promoting the top team they divided the top half of the table into a second phase where they will now play a round robin tournament and the top 2 teams will be automatically promoted. The 3rd and 4th place finishers will play a promotion relegation tournament with the 14th and 13th ranked teams of the Russian Premier league.

If I remember correctly I read somewhere before that Maikon Orellana is from Chalatenango, El Salvador and moved to the U.S. at a young age.

I think he is a Salvadoran born player. I think most of you remember he had the same problem that Jr. Burgos had with both club and going to El Salvador.

Arturo is eligible to play in tomorrows game between his Pacos de Ferreira and Sporting Lisbon. Pacos are undefeated in their last 4 league games. Game kicks off early afternoon tomorrow (3:00 PM for me).

Sporting awarded a penalty but fail to convert. Pacos creating some opportunities and are close to a goal. Still 1-0 for Sporting.

Fulltime: 1-0 for Sporting. Arturo did not make an appearance.

You're right. Arturo came on in the 87th minute. I have a bad feed that stops updating towards the end of game.

Burgos and Messias played the full 90 in Petapa's 1-0 loss to Xelaju.

Cheyo scored in Municipals 1-1 tie to Marquense.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cheyo finishes this season and then goes abroad. He's been playing lights out. Guate seems to have a decent connection with Chile right now, so.. :D
