Re: Salvadoran humor and charm Like 5 months ago my friend and myself when to a Mexican restaurant, we got seated next to a table and it happen to be Salvadorians because one of the guy was wearing the Blue Salvadorian jersey, so I am looking through the menu right and the waitress come to their table right and the conversation when something like this. Excuse my Spanish by the way. Wow. I so wanted to laugh so hard but I contain my self. And to make it even funnier a few minutes later when she comes back with the drinks another funny moment happen. Mesera- o.k muchachos aqui estan sus vevidas Selecta guy- muchas gracias oiga, me pudia regalar una “pajia” porfavor? Mesera- once again with a (what the…. Face) “pajia” (I swear she started laughing) disculpe otra vez no se que es eso? I swear that made my day! hahaha I Talk to him and his freinds towards the end.
Re: Salvadoran humor and charm When speaking to Mexicans or latinos who are not familiar with our lingo, I usually have to remind myself to speak so they understand me. That's awesome that the guy still spoke as if he was in El Salvador. That Mexican chick learned a thing or two that day.
Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition Is it really that big of a deal? I mean could you not simply say "No, he is not in Leon FC or I have no idea do some research and let us know!"?. There are rumors in every country let alone one starved for attention like El Salvador. Oh! and one last thing, could we please stop using words like "mate" and "lads" and all these other words that aren't in anyway associated with El Salvador or our culture. Let's stay on our own lane not go onto someone elses, that is the reason why 99% of people in El Salvador would prefer to watch a R.Madrid or Barca game rather then one from our league.
Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition Mate, I was born & raised in Australia, u mad? thats where i read it from. i knew bout this for ages but i didnt say anything earlier cos its from wikipedia, there wasnt any article proving it so...
Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition Well said. Could not have said it any better. I live 3 months of the in the USA, but I reside in Northern Ireland. How can you live in the different country and not speak their official language it boggles me. Anywho, that's a topic for another thread. Cheers.
Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition Mad? No. Like someone it's not really that big of deal, i was just stating my opinion. And excuse me for not knowing your were born and raised in Australia, i probably just got confused because your country is Spain, your location is Australia, but your name is "La Trucha".

Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition i support the Spain national football team La Furia Roja my location's Melbourne, Australia - and i did say i was born & raised in Australia, didnt i? obviously my backgrounds Salvi, hence the username aint too complicated, brah
Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition lol that statement is sad..smh Your an Australian with Salvadorian heritage...your not just a poser...your a DOUBLE POSER! LOL CHEERS MATE!
My background is pipil-spanish and only that and even I hate everything spanish. The country is so arrogant and racist, it disgusts me. The national team/players are arrogant shites. I only support the English and Argentinian national teams if they play. I root for England on occasion because I'm passionate about Arsenal, so that's why. And Argentina, well, Diego. But they don't compare to what I feel for my own country, obviously.
Re: Salvadorans Abroad - 2011 Edition u mad bro? i'm Basque-Mayan, but i must have some Portguese descent cos my surname is Portuguese. I support Spain because I love FC Barca and their style of play. Plus Spain is El Salvador's mother country. I support Brazil on occasion because their '02 WC squad is the reason I got into football, especially Ronaldo, Rivaldo & Ronaldinho; their style of play is amazing. Brazil was the 1st team i ever supported, before discovering FC Barca, and then Spain. Xenophobia & racism is pretty rife in Europe, especially in France. That's a huge problem especially in football with all the racist chants on the players. Take Samuel Eto'o as an example.
