About on par with Carlos Valderamma. Naw, he's still pretty raw when it comes to that. It's easy to be forgiving of things when he's still learning. I'm not sure a 28 yr old vet would get away with those mistakes and still be starting. Then again maybe since Bale's had some games where he's tore up the opposition with his attacking play. Anyway, he's not horrible but he'd be wise to stick around to learn some more and improve defensively before making the next step.
Not to be rude but not even the experts in the game get those questions right most of the time. He definitely looks like he has a lot of potential and premeirship quality. I don't know about World Class but those are pretty rare. Looks like Dyer may broken his ankle : http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...id=20&lid=&title=Saints+fret+over+Dyer+injury
Sorry, I used the wrong word and expected too much out of you. I just wanted to know if he could be an above-average defender or if he would be comparable to Titus Bramble.

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=462920&CPID=10&clid=20&lid=2&title=Saints+recall+McGoldrick Saints manager George Burley has used a 24-hour recall option to bring McGoldrick back to St Mary's following a successful two months with the League One side. The 19-year-old scored six goals in 12 games to help pull the Cherries away from the relegation zone and with six first-team players currently out injured for Saints he could be thrown into the side as they bid for a Championship play-off place. Striker Marek Saganowski is among those who are injured and McGoldrick could feature on the bench at Norwich on Saturday.
Disappointing end to the season. Not much news other than Best and Powell signing (or close to it) new contracts.
Not sure. It might depend on how things shake out over the summer. The thinking seemed to be if Saints went up they'd buy him. But they didn't so they may not want to or have the $$$ to buy him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/6683989.stm Southampton full-back Gareth Bale will have a medical at Tottenham on Wednesday after the two clubs agreed a fee, reports BBC Radio Wales. Saints boss George Burley earlier denied reports a fee had been agreed between the two clubs.
Belmadi's contract wasn't renewed. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...d=&title=Belmadi+released+by+Saints&channel=&
can you please give me any info on Saganowski and how did he performed? apparently boavista is interested in him...
He did well. He had a lot of promise as a youngster but had some injuries so he's a bit of a risk. He looked good at Saints but that was the last half of the season on loan from Troyes.
Yeah, scored about 10 goals in 10 starts in the end, plus a superb hat trick vs Wolves. Now has been signed on a full deal, can only be a good thing for the club, and despite a few players leaving this summer, Burley has promised more to come, hopefully some in the defence.
