No Aimar and Garay are bigger losses, and Benfica still should have won by a goal or more than they did...good solid performance.

    Maxi and Witsel were superb.

Liked what i saw from nelson oliveira, a bit selfish but he wanted to make a impression on his debut..the patience will come in time and experience.

His speed and strength accompanied by a good touch on the ball makes me cautiously optimistic.

Luisao was a rock as well, but Jardel had two easy headers from corner kicks....too bad he was the nail rather than the hammer when heading the ball.

Hit it with some authority for God sakes.

I agree. That attitude surprised me a bit. He displayed team-mindedness every time I previously watched him and that has been his best asset. However, balancing it with a more aggressive attitude will obviously take him to another level.

Grazie; my last international match at A Luz was the 2-0 over you guys. It's been four years already..

Thanks! Best of luck against Chelsea, saw that first leg. Cavani and Lavezzi together are amazing! What a partnership. Hamsik is a good provider. You have control with a 3-1 lead. AVB was sacked, don't see Chelsea doing much.

Lyon losing was pretty big for Portugal in regards to the Coefficient. Especially considering how Porto and Braga shit the bed this year in competitions.

I was aiming for Apoel as a joke, now it's actually a possibility!!! They beat Lyon. Hope Basel beat Bayern! They won the first leg 1-0!

I just think Witsel was a better overal player. MOTM. But hey im not perfect.

Basel gave Baryern a rough time so its possible.

I thought Witsel was MOTM also. He controlled so many balls, and literally was all over the field. Not to mention it was his beautiful backheel that made Maxi's goal possible.

I agree bro, im just saying I think they deserve a better rating than 7 is all. I think 8.0-8.5 would be a fairly more accurate rating for them. Great job on the website though. Looks interesting.

Yep thats for sure. I cant remember a year where so many of Benfica players have been rumored to be potentially sold in the summer. At least that there is interest anyway.

Inter already want Maxi for next season.

    What's his buyout clause?
