Ya, you are already see a dip in performance. He is not as quick as he once was. We should really give Manuel Fernandes a shot in his position. He's playing lights out in that only CAM role.

so LFV won the team presidential election yesterday by a landslide.....83% of the votes!!

    LFV = 385,988 votes
    Rui Rangel= 64,299 votes

Looks like another long term of LFV being PDC's little bitch.

He's a dope and should worry about winning one championship before he gets delusions of grandeur. He's been president for a decade and his winning percentage of 20% in a three team league is nowhere near 75%.

Aimar leaving in January? Brazilian and Argentine clubs interested.

Apparently he hasn't trained in over a month. Just turned 33 today. Makes too much $$$ to sit on the bench, injured. As much as it will suck to see him go, he's offered everything he can to Benfica. Would free up some salary cap.

Atlético will bank 60 million by selling Falcao. They agreed to a what, 45 million transfer fee with Porto? That's still a 15 million profit. And regardless they'll need a replacement. I'm sure Madrid can offer Benfica a player to lower the price of Cardozo. We all know we need a solid midfielder. 7 million and a player should be sufficient to secure Cardozo.

Benfica looking to sign 24 year old French defensive midfielder Capoue from Toulouse in January. They will offer Yannick Djalo, who's already loaned to them, and between 5-7 million to seal the deal.

"Benfica close to signing Jorge 'Chaton' Enriquez"

    "João Vaz
    From Portugal"

"Jorge "Chaton" Enriquez is the player chosen by manager Jorge Jesus and Benfica to reinforce the midfield, after losing key stars in the position.
According to sources close to the Portuguese team, the Chivas player is Benfica's number one priority, the negotiations are already in place and an agreement could come in the next few days.

Benfica suffered huge losses on defense and the midfield after losing Javier Garcia to Manchester City for 20 million Euros. They also lost their defensive midfielder, Witsel, for 40 million Euros to Zenith in Russia.

The Benfica manager has attempted to play Matic and Enzo Perez in those divisions, while also trying out youth players Andre Alemida and Andre Gomes.

The internal solutions have worked so far for Jorge Jesus, but he wants a player who is storng physically and has the technique similar to Javi Garcia, this is where Chaton comes in.

Despite his young age he already has experience in the LIGA MX and official competitions with the Mexican national team. Among the profile sought by Benfica is one that can help in the present and also the financial future.

With the signing, Benfica would no longer take Diego Reyes, as with Jorge Enriquez, Benfica would have a player like Javi Garcia who could also play in center back."

So stupid. Mexican players rarely do well in the Portuguese league. Not to mention Andre Gomes has been very good for us. Although he is more of a CM, or CAM, which is the role Witsel played.

Personally, not to excited about Chaton.

Based on some youtube videos of him, I can say that I'm not impressed at all, I'm not excited to see him in Lisbon.

JJ is looking for someone to replace Javi Garcia, God I miss this guy, always helpful
