    Marrufo?
Yeah, this game needed a nut case as ref for sure...

I like the idea of Colorado using Cummings as a target player. If Olave is on the pitch, that simply won't work.

It'll be interesting to watch the wing play vs diamond midfield in this match.
Do I boo Cascio? Can we call him a reject?

Of all refs to get, we get Jair ****ing Marrufo. Not exactly sure what the result will be, but it WILL involve a terrible decision.

Is there a match between the supporters this year? Can't seem to find a thread about it…

It got cancelled due to Crapids not being able to field a team. Sorry ya'll. The next game will be better organized.

I have to laugh a bit at the RSL side of this thing.
Why were we asking for volunteers, lining up a really good location, warning about how this is such a privilege when we didn't even know if the other guys were going to show up?

hey, ginger, you've got no soul!

Bunch of CRapids fans spending money downtown. They said, "We'll be cheering a couple hours from now." I said, "I think it will be more groans than cheering." He responded, "History has proven you right unfortunately."

Nice pass from Beltran, and great control by Saborio for the 1-0 goal. More to follow.

Someone needs to let the bozos announcing for Altitude that this is not Velasquez's first start in MLS. LOL!

    They've said it several times.

    Starters were:

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Saborio, Espindola, Johnson, Gil, Beckerman, Velasquez, Winger, Borchers, Olave, Beltran, Rimando[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

That was a very good half in my opinion. Great goal by sabo. Great chances. I think valasquez looks very confident out there. Beckerman is looking good. I'm excited for the second half and more goals!

The Salt Lake broadcast said it at least once as well. Something tells me a bad data sheet got passed to the media booths.

    I suspected as such.

The Altitude announcers also need to decide how to pronounce Espindola's name

    Es-SPIN-dola
    Es-pin-DOLA
    or
    SPIN-dola

    The first is correct.

OK, we got away with one there. Espindola did control it with his arm.

Nice "touch" by Espindola for the 2-0 goal. Maybe one more to follow.
