    Steele is really, really struggling.

Blown offside call on Sabo again. Dude is down three goals from where he could be.

    Great ball from Wingert though.

Sabo was definitely in front of the pack of defenders in the box, but Riley held him onside. Bad call.

GOAL!! What an awesome ball from Beckerman and a great header by Espy!

Espy is now the RSL goal leader!!!!

I definitely heard our group of fans celebrating that one. Nice work at the HDC, RSL fans!

Steele with the secondary assist. :)

That was some kind of cool play from Wingert. Awesome effort and even better pass. He could have two assists on the night.

Was Espy off on his goal?
They never really showed it slowed down like the Sabo one (which was awful) but from a quick glance he sure got in behind easy.

    Whatever, take it.

I found it funny Sabo didn't think he was on because of how far ahead of the defenders marking him he was.
Terrible job by the AR, though. There is no excuse to not be in line there. Riley was right next to the ball, its not like he had to chance his focus by a large distance

All the credit on that needs to go to former RSL man McKenzie.
If he doesn't sell out, Steele is curling it into the far post after a pretty bad half and the strange love for the irish man would continue at the RioT

it's been so long without a game that I feel bad complaining about our play, but seriously, If Chivas USA is making you play Defend and Counter then you've got a problem.
Hope we got that sorted out.

And Sabo was robbed yet again.
I know all strikers have their incorrectly called back goals, but Sabo should be tied with Thierry Henry in goals right now.

They finally showed a reply from the sidelines and I think it's onside.

Not a bad half not a great half either.

Sabo robbed again but I think he looks like he has goals in him wanting to get out.

Pretty good defense with a couple of bad passes thrown in. RSL definitely looked the better side in first half. Lets see if they can keep it up in the second.

I hate Moreno and players like him. Leave the flopping to the NBA.

Bad call by the AR. Steele is off as usual and Grabs isn't looking good as the AM. I'm looking forward to Morales coming in and Grabs moving back to the side. I think we'll look better when that happens.

Watching this on MDL and I have to give props to the Chivas commentary. They're giving props to both teams where due and there's nearly 0 homerism. Crazy to see how good Chivas is defensively, they just haven't been able to score the goals to win. Agudelo should be good for them over the rest of the season.

Also felt the game was very even, possibly in Chivas' favor earlier on. I'd say the last 15-20 mins we were able to turn it up and figure out how to break them down. We keep this up and we should win. Aside from the blown offsides call, I'd say the reffing so far has been good. Lets hope that keeps up.

If we can get 30ish minutes of great old Morales play and service I think Sabo could easily grab a goal or two.

Agreed. Steele looked to have that one lined up, but of course we don't know where it really would have gone. Good play by Mackenzie aye.

Steele is schizophrenic in his play. Some glorious stuff, some stuff looks more like me than a pro.

The key tonight, besides the finishing of Espindola (c'mon Sabo, you're having a Jonny Steele-esque night tonight!), has been the pressure leading to turnovers. The midfield and outside backs have eaten Chivas alive, stealing countless balls and jump starting the attack.
