If we go a whole season with no stage I'll be all smiles. I just don't see that happening, it just doesn't make sense(cents too!).

The first concert last year was pretty early in the season, about this time. IIRC it was announced in January or February. By this time last year they had announced a few different events at the stadium.

Yeah it was last May, cuz my wife and I decided to see the new Star Trek movie in IMAX at Jordan Commons the same day as the Eagle concert. OOPS!

My guess is the stage is going up and southenders will lose their seats by the end of May. :(

What the heck happened to this thread? We need Support groups to work and we need to stop having different chanters an drummers together. Space them out, organize them. This helps the ambience of the stadium, and it would increase the chance of having more season ticket holders. Why does something that makes so much business sense long term make so little sense to this Front Office?

The FO has nothing to do with organization. In fact, they've been pretty good this year (i.e. monthly SG meetings, letting us have a little more free reign over the content of chants, etc). The problem is that some groups do not seem to see the need to work with the rest, and it creates two different sounds coming out of the same place. I agree that the best solution would probably be to place the two different types of SG's in different parts of the stadium, but that seems to be the one thing the FO is unwilling to do.

At last nights supporters leadership meeting Barra was down right disrespectful by showing up late and asking the other supporters to leave so they could talk to the Front office alone. How is that working together at all?

Just like all fads, this one seems to have died out. Fairly quickly, thank God!

without them, the place wasnt as loud
however, it was much better in terms of being able to actually hear the chants
