Over the past several seasons we've brought people in during the offseason to see if they'll work out, then cut them before the final roster. Exploring the possibilities is fine, kind of like we did with Chris Agorsor and Wes Knight last year - think of him as a trialist, really.

It will be interesting to see the flavor of the preseason camp invitees. The last couple of years have been heavy at the left back spot. I suspect we'll see more attacking players invited than perhaps in the past.
