Well... there goes Espi... and the game. Espi gets a red for two footed tackle.

I've seen worse tackles go without a red the last couple of weeks, but I can't really argue it on the letter of the law.

I know Johnson has been a great part of this teams success the last couple years, but I will take both Gil and Valasquez in his and Steele 's place any day of the week. Midfield has no rythem two pass bomb, two pass bomb.
Down a goal with Sabo as our only option up front I would say sit him and bring in Paulo.

Dawkins brought his trailing leg through Johnson on that tackle from behind. Why wasn't that a red card?

Did you see how lazy the defending on that goal was? Easy, easy to clear, and Borchers laid an giant egg.

We've looked bad more than we've looked good this season IMO.

I think RSL played better soccer with Gil, Seba, Paulo and Espy in the lineup.

It feels like Sabo and Morales just slow up the play.

Hopefully we can keep the score at 1-0.

Because as we've seen so far this year, scissor tackles are fair play during the game, but suspensions afterwards.

Apparently several of our players threw fits on the way off the field. Hopefully no new cards, since Beckerman was one of the culprits.

    Such BS.

Is this karma for Sabo's dive?

    Paulo for Sabo
    Gil for Steele,
75 minute if we are still in it sit Johnson for Valasquez.

Sabo has again sucked, maybe less his fault tonight. He needs another striker and can create nothing himself.

Steele is so far a bust, hard to see what Kries sees?

Random side note. Besides the slick pitch, it seems like they put flubber on the balls, because there seems to be a lot of extra bounce to them.

Agree that we've looked bad more than we've looked good. Where's that team that played Colorado?

Even so, the red on Espy was joke. One of the softest reds I've seen in a long time. If that was a red, so was the tackle from behind on Will. Ugh. Maybe we'll just throw the kitchen sink at them in the second half and it will at least be entertaining? Or, maybe I should just go to bed. It's late on the East Coast...

There just is no offensive attack...They are great passing it around till they lose it but that is about it.. Where is any kind of offensive attack from anyone?? Will a Saborio fan please tell me what he has done out there but walk around?? Will a Garth fan please tell me why Real didn't bring any forward in to have some competition with the forwards. He brings in an argentine that must not be good because he never plays, and we are still getting nothing from Paulo for a second year, and who else is there??? We should of put in a bid for cooper...We can't continue to stay stagnant with the same forwards..

We ended up staying up for the first half, but to bed now. Gawd, RSL came out looking bad and never let up. I'm not sure the red on Espindola was deserved, I've seen that tackle not even called a foul, but if the league is going to be enforcing those consistently, I'm fine with it... IF.

The play has been sloppy in all areas, by all players.

I didn't even know Johnson was in the game until about the 30th minute, and that was on a restart. Steele is hit or miss.

The goal we gave up was never a surprise, really. It had been coming the whole half.

Good night! See y'all after we watch the second half in the morning.

I will look for the ref to even things up in the second half.

    Or maybe no need.

    1-1 on Beckerman goal.

    Bring in Paulo, sit Sabo.
Agree with Balance Johnson has been invisible.
Steele has been a pure miss.
