No prediction from me, I'm TRYING not to have any expectations for this game. I just want to enjoy watching it.

But my expectation is a dross.

It'd have to be well outside the 18—more than 1400 miles outside.

Are we wearing our home kits?

We come to it at last. The great battle of our time. It's the deep breath before the plunge. The board is set. The pieces are moving. Courage is the best defense that you have now.

There never was much hope. Just a fool's hope.

Down what, five starters? Olave, Wingert, Morales, Johnson, Grabavoy/Williams?

Looking good early - the Sabo shot and the free kick.

    The reinforcements:

    McKenzie and Wagner on defense

Williams and Jean in the midfield

Argosor and Paulo Jr on the attack

    Reynish in the goal

And WTH - Warner just kicked Cameron in the balls, no call!

Nice save off the line from Beltran.

Our defensive shape as a team is awful, its only a matter of time before a breakdown gives up a good opportunity. Gotta tighten it up.

Question: All in all, how has Gil looked during his multi-game starting stretch and tonight? Overall strengths? Overall weaknesses?

Is he a legitimate starter on a lot of teams in MLS? thanks...

One goal won't do it tonight IMO. Great FK from Beckerman by the way.

good goal. Now get some defense help in cause it is so hot. Put jean in to help and go with a 451 right now.

Way too early for that kind of talk. If we are up 2-0 at half, maybe. If we are up 1-0 at 70th minute, maybe.

Reynish lacing up after Schuler collides with Rimando, not good. Not only will we miss Nicky if he has to come off, we're gonna need every sub we have to make it out of this game with any points.

I'll take it. We are fortunate they did not score off of those give away gaffes.

45 minutes will be fine for him; not sure why Warner went out though? Anyone know?

Quite a chance for Gil; we're looking better the past 5-6 minutes but that was quite a storm we weathered.

    GOAL GIL! 2-1.

I see that you've got at least 3 minutes on my Mathday Live feed.

I doubt defenders leave Gil unmarked like that again.

It was indeed. And this has to be a planned sub, else there's no reason for Espindola to come off. Great 60 minutes from him.

I'm excited to see PJ get half an hour tonight . . .

Long distance applause for Espindola as he's subbed off.

Hope PJ can provide the same offense.
