Who did RSL replace him with? Braun?

I restarted RSL manager mode, now w/ TWO strikers. Sabo & Findley. Findley is for reals on FIFA 13.

Rotates between Braun and Junior. The most frustrating part about playing a career as a player is games when you're not selected in the game day 18. Yay! Let's sim another match!

So I created Joao Plata for FIFA 13 and added him to RSL. Now I have 3 strikers. I was wondering, do I add the Draft picks, just to round it out? Random thoughts on a blah day.

If you give Paulo jr enough playing time he can get up to 70~ overall, but Braun doesn't improve as much so he's not an ideal replacement for Sabo/Espy.

Some good young MLS players you should try to get:
    • Koffie (71)
    • Najar (69)
    • Agudelo (67)
    • Mattocks (67)

I would switch RSL with a low EPL team and always try to get 2 of these forwards. Findley, Bunbury m Augedelo and Sabo. They'd all score for me in the EPL.

    Funniest thing happened.
I was manager for the USMNT for the 2014 World Cup. (JK gave up?)
Got put in a really tough group, but classic American miracle goal pushes us into the knockout stages.
    Cool Beans.

    Then I got a Email
    Notifying me
    that Landon Donovan
    had RETIRED FROM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL.

    During the World Cup...

Wow. During the Cup? Did he really just disappear from your squad then during the tournament?

We were at a Jr Jazz player appearance last night. It was Paul Milsap. He was asked what is favorite video game was and he said FIFA 13. Makes his money playing basketball, but deep down is a soccer fan. My appreciation of him went up a couple of notches.

Yeah, and it was too late to replace him.

Could you imagine Milsap as a Center Back? He'd be in the EPL or La Liga for sure.

Hopefully RSL's new signings will have decent ratings by summer.
Also, Schuler is way underrated. Needs to be in the high 60's.
These ratings make playing with matchday RSL less fun.

Worthless effin' game. Made me as a player and in the second season the ball disappears. Literally...games are played with no ball.

I hear that's a glitch with certain soccer balls, try changing it.

So this new striker news got me thinking. What young existing FIFA 13 international striker would you sign to start up top with Sabo in FIFA 13?

Also, who do you plan on replacing older guys like Morales, Beckerman and Rimando?

My team just lost in the US Open Cup semis. Best part about it was the coach refusing to play me. I've never been so frustrated with FIFA before.

Who are you? Virtual Pro or someone on the squad? I have played Gil on Player Career and I usually get picked for every game, except when I get tired.

I've been playing a player career as Gil. I've met all of the season objectives so far, but I'm still sat once every three games due to fitness. I also run out of my endurance/sprint meter by the end of each match, which results in pulling up with an injury. I'm only making sprints to get into position, or to get into the attack, but Gil's stamina sucks! If I don't sprint, I'm told I'm out of position and my rating goes down. If I do sprint, I run out of stamina. Seems like a catch 22.

In previous versions of the game, you would earn experience points that you could use to increase your pro's stats. I can't find that in FIFA 13, so Gil's stamina continues to suck. His sprint meter is at about 1/2 when the match begins. Anyone know how to increase the stats or increase the stamina?

That's FIFA for you. There's really no way to get around that.

It sounds like most of you play as a player. Try playing as a manager. I think it's much funner. You can sim games, play the game as the whole team, or choose one player to play. And of course, you can control the transfers.

I'm going to start up a new one when the RSL roster is up to date (They should update it when RSL signs a new striker, right?).

EA usually releases an update once the international transfer window closes and transfers are finished. They don't usually wait for MLS to finish, which is why you can usually play as trialists and draftees throughout the season.

They just updated this weekend and most MLS transfers are on there. But I bet you'll have to wait until march for the next one.

As for player career and stats, I think they still go up. However I noticed that when I play Gil they didn't but when I played a created player or Vpro it upped my stats every few games. Try using a created player.

I created my own player (my name, likeness....without the tats of course) and I'm having a good time with it. Got sold by RSL to some German team and then loaned out to Bastia where I won the golden boot. Went back to German team and requested for a transfer and got turned down. Turned in a loan request and it was granted and was picked up by West Ham (before I realized they were relegated again). Ball disappeared, so I changed balls (thanks Prime). So now there is a golden boot winner playing in the npower Championship league all because of my blinding thrill of playing for a yo-yo team. I am having entirely too good of a time with this.

Just played a game after the teams updated. Plata looked like a 12-year-old next to Sabo and Morales. I wonder if the size difference is exaggerated, or reality.
