Yeah, surprisingly fun to watch. Literally a younger RSL team. Can't wait to see them choke in the final Good luck to them for the rest of the tournament.
Just got back from the game and I am very impressed. Yes Justin Glad played and played very well. Stoke was outplayed the entire second half after getting a goal very early in the game. Bofo is an incredible player, lock this kid up now. Great vision and a powerful shot. The keeper is HUGE. I believe he is 6-7, just a beast. Dude can touch the crossbar without jumping, and made a great save in the PK's I was able to see the U20 nats play the other night and this game was sooooo much faster and more exciting. Jordan looked good, but didn't do too much to stand out. They got very lucky with a bad offsides call against River Plate in the last minute of the game. Got the 3-2 win

Here's mlssoccer.com's write-up: On another note, man those black jackets are slick. Now I just need to talk my wife into letting me buy one...
Did you get the email from the FO about the jackets? They've got some at the store for $100, and they're expecting them to sell pretty quickly. Well, they're marketers, so of course they're expecting them to sell quickly. If they'd just get in some black Rimando jerseys...
Looks like the next match will be streamed. http://www.mlssoccer.com/generation...e/2014/04/17/generation-adidas-cup-2014-day-3
I'm also looking to buy one of those black jackets sometime this year. Hopefully they last until I have the funds.
I'll admit, I was a bit shocked at the level of play. I thought it would be fairly sloppy, but they put on a good show. That strike from Salcedo was great. Hoping in a few years he's another homegrown signing.
RSL and Stoke went to PKs. RSL missed three in a row, Stoke took the title. Good playing, but the PK pendulum swung the other way this time (like another particular game we all know and hate).
Well, you what would you expect from an RSL team? They even had a player who hit the post with his penalty kick. Obvious RSL material since we seem to have that problem in finals. The RSL goalie is also 6 ft 6 in tall. If he can jump half way decent, he should play forward on set pieces.
