I have forbidden myself from starting these this year as I'm fairly certain that each and every one I started last year ended in us losing. No joke
LA are ushered out of Champion's League following a south of the border thrashing. Who do we see at Rio Tinto? A deflated LA working for the weekend or a pissed off fired up squad just waiting to smack the %&$# out of a team for some release?
Keane and Donovan will be hungry, everyone else will be deflated. While my official position is we win handily, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a 1-1 or 2-2 draw.
Hey, Tony Beltran, no blind backpasses in this one, okay? Honestly, the injuries are the breaking point on this game. It'll be frustrating if the guys cant play, but at the same time it'll make sense. It's the 3rd game of the season, there is no reason to rush guys back. Especially after snagging 4 points on the road to open the season
We can only hope that the Gal's atrocious defensive errors continue. Wow, those goals were all ugly and preventable.
Just listened to Cassar's interview on Bill/Hans. Nicky - will play Maund - most likely out (hammy pull/strain) Schuler - in full training, could play Javi - training, could play I think you see Salcedo start with Borchers with Schuler on the bench. That is scary given Keane seems to have found his touch in Tijuana* *take that however you want
Thanks for the update. Bill and (particularly) Hans can be tiresome, but you glean a lot from listening to those interviews. I sync my ipod up and listen to it on my commute home (which is almost always hours later than they were broadcast).
Any chance we see garcia? Doesn't play very smart but his technical ability is far greater than anybody else on the bench.
the first point overshadows the second greatly. That said, this is his debut game. Not as a starter, I think, but he'll come off the bench
Dunny touched on this during this week's On Frame podcast. He said we haven't seen Garcia due to what the game required, not because of fitness or skill. He said Garcia was set to come on in SJ, but the Maund injury forced Cassar to change his substitutions plan. I bet we see him against LA.
Probably the only game of the season that I'll be attending this year... (baby due in May, playing musicals May-October) so I'm stoked for this. Thinking of throwing a flag or two-stick together for this and will come with probably too many streamers/energy. What needs to happen is for the guys to come out and stomp (not literally except on maybe LD/Keane's ankles) on the Galaxy and deflate them even more. A memorialized LA team is exactly what we want.

Interesting that they haven't even started a Gals/RSL thread over in the LAG forum. They still seem to be hung over/dazed from the CCL game and they're (still) suggesting that Arena be fired. Those guys are a wreck. Looking forward to Saturday afternoon, no matter what happens, rain/snow or shine.
Well Allen aint smart or good at this point so i dont get it. At least igarcia does something stupid he can make up for it. I about had a melt down late in that san jose game when allen dribbled into 2 or 3 defenders and lost the ball at midfield.
