Why? You in the market? DM me...

What's going on under my coat depends entirely on who's there. It can be quite tame or quite nefarious depending on the company...

    This would be so disappointing.

I don't think that's it. Why would the governor care about the RMC?

But it's going to be disappointing, though.

The state of Utah is going to buy out Rio Tinto and become the new stadium sponsor. RSL will now play at the Ski/Board Utah Stadium.

    Or something.

even though its not new news on here, could this just have something to do with the field complex/training facility finally getting going north of town now that all appeals have been exhausted.

I like how his mom (how old is this guy? 45?) supports him by "maybe" making lunch for his friends. You don't want to drive all the way across town for some Next Generation role-play and then have to leave early because you are hungry. I hate it when that happens.

Anyway, Kirk might be a "fat chauvinst ladies man", but at least he's not French.

this makes the most sense. It appears to be a decent reason to involve the politicians especially if they can show how the complex will be for community use.

I'm going to guess they're announcing a BIG summer concert series, headlining David Archuleta and some glam group. I can't wait to see Ratt this summer.

    Why is Garber there, then?

I'm having a hard time thinking of a reason to justify having governor, mayor and commissioner attending.

only strange part is that, even though team and stadium are in sandy, complex is in salt lake city. would sandy city mayor care to be there for that?

That was going to be my guess. I think Checketts is leaving RSL.

That would explain Garber's presence, but not really the mayor's or governor's.

This has to be it. Checketts is selling his share to... wait for it... David Beckham. You heard it here first. Make sure to quote me in your tweets.

Checketts is leaving RSL for the MLS commissioner's job and Garber is taking over for Checketts!
