Sadly, at this point, no news on him. He plays tomorrow noon time, well at least aris does, and he is expected to maybe get some minutes, as he made the 18man roster.

I'll be watching, and post a link here with anymore info.

Do not worry my bolivian bothers, nacho is a true professional(i can tell), i think he's the only bolivian player that truly wants to better himself. Hacer realidad ese sueno que todos tenemos como ninos, jugar futbol profesional y porque no jugar en una liga competitiva. Nacho tiene los huevos y el talento para superarse aun mas.

^^^Yes, his only issues is his ability to always put his body out there for tackles and often getting hurt as a result.

I love his ballsy play, but sometimes given his ability to get hurt, he needs to chill a little.

but that's also what makes him a great player. And don't worry about his constant injuries, I'm sure it's just a phase he is going through. He'll eventually get back to 100%, and IM SURE he'll show what he is really worth.

PS- as you can tell ARCE and NACHO are my fav players.

What i find interesting, is that they are apparently playing him more in the central midfield, probably more of a 'armador' then defensive midfield, as his game was progressing towards in the last games he played for bolivia.

I wonder how this will effect him for us as our NT? Could he be our next '10'?

hes not a 10...hes defensive...8 you can say...we know he can shoot but we need him on D for the NT..thats his strong points..such as tackling and strength..you can still 'armar' from there

he sort of like a mascherano..not very offensive at all with the shots and pass but adds the part where no one really notices...the effort and strength and toughness and marking and clearing the ball

that's about right, he's a mascherano-Gatuso type of player, he def contributes on offense but his strength is defending and disrupting, probably the most underrated part to play, but without a player like this teams can have their way.

His distribution and ability to act as a attacking midfielder is really good when going up!

But a Didi torrico could play that too... so we'll see. But at aris he isnt a def. mid that much anymore.

This is a link of his game, he isnt playing yet, but to give you an idea of what hes playing for.

Expect a ton of coverage of this team now that freddy adu and eddie johnson are going to be playing there.

I think he'd make a fine attacking mid, but we have other options for that position, and unfortunately he isn't challenged for the position he plays with the nats.

Nacho came in today for Aris, and had an assist for their third goal, not bad for only 23 mins in a game (caome on in the 67th)! :)

And i dont know about you, but having an assist tells me he can be more of a setup man then say a joselito vaca. :p

Cuper was asked about Nacho's performance at the press conference. He said that he was absolutely satisfied from his performance. He was always in the right spot and helped the team score the 3rd goal with his assist. Now Nacho needs to regain his fitness in order to handle 90 minutes.

Aris is still in the Greek Cup. They play in the 5th round on the 13th and 20th of this month against Asteras Tripoli. Hopefully, he'll get more playing time there.

First of all, hello to everyone!

Actually we play only one game against Asteras Tripoli, on the 13th. Whoever wins, qualifies (if needed, extra time and penalties).

As for Nacho, you should know that during the summer preparation, he was one of the top performers of the team. He started the season playing an incredible game against Atromitos, in Thessaloniki and a second one against local rivals Iraklis, on the road.

We all agreed back then that this season should be Nacho's season and we were looking forward to seeing him bond with Mehdi Nafti in the midfield.

Unfortunately, he got injured in a game of Bolivia and took him 1.5 month to recover. His bad luck, though, didn't end there. While trying to push himself and return sooner, not only did he aggravate his situation but he also got a knee injury, leaving him for another 2 months outside the field. :(

I just hope 2010 is more polite with him. When Nacho's inside, Aris plays at a top level. He's indispensable to the function of the team, 'cause he is the only player who can defend and attack so creatively, at the same time.

And since you talked about his true position, imo he is a pure 8. All his technical characteristics lead to that. Besides, that's his shirt's number :pTogether with another MC next to him, perhaps a little bit more defensive (such as Nafti), he is perfect for a 4-4-2. And luckily for him, that's Cuper's favorite formation...

I'm going to be watching this team alot more now that it's going to be AIRED more often in usa (With arrival of ADU and Johnson).

    That's alittle too erotic!

Exactly! This is why we keep him as a defensive midfield.

Yeah. He's great for a nice counter. I wished Bolivia used his resources alittle better.
