Is the intertoto cup started already? I would hope they'd let all the players get back from World Cup matches before then. Especially because Newcastle has to go via the Intertoto route as well, and Michael Owen is in Germany.
Newcastle will be entering the competition on July 15th against (most likely) Lillestrom from Norway. I guess they can qualify even without Michael Owen.

Dinamo have said they will refuse to travel to Israel to play Beitar Jerusalem. UEFA will rule on August 7th.
Good, they shouldn't. It will most likely be played in another Israeli city or possibly on more neutral ground.
It's official, UEFA ruled today that no games will be played in Israel. I am curious to see where the Israelis will want to play this game now.
I think Steaua's got it... Israeli teams will probably pick a European site... I remember when my team Red Star couldn't play in Serbia due to the Kosovo riots, we played in Bulgaria in Sofia. So I would imagine something like Greece..
