See, this is how low my soccerIQ is. Of course it all makes sense now. forwards score, more forwards = more goals. Even if they score on you, as long as you have more than them.
we are all about possesion ball and attractive soccer. Just those darn playes never listen to our #coachoftheyear.
IRC, we do tend to slump in July and August. I don't think the casuals will be too happy if that is the case, and Hack continues to roll out his normal XI.
What we need to do is clone a team of Danny Cruz. Hello Club World Cup title. It probably does. I just know it's also when we play our worst soccer. It was the case the past two years. I just think the casual doesn't understand that and will probably get angry over it.
I don't think the frustration level has approached where it was with Nowak, but I have heard Hack's name booed at home games. Also, there have been resounding boos after bad results. The Dallas game comes to mind. Pure idle speculation. Short of doing an actual survey, you have no way of knowing if what you are saying is correct or not.
shit I would too. Is hot as hell out there, and that smell from the river on a damp humid day. Its like napalm in the morning.
Ironically we actually played our best last year at this time! **Only League Matches** W-L-D 2010 July 1-1-2 Aug 1-3-2 2011 July 1-1-2 Aug 0-1-3 2012 July 4-1-0 Aug 0-3-2
So, (not) speaking of Roger Torres, did anyone hear the social media poll posed on The 90th Minute? I'm paraphrasing, but the question was something like which player would you like to see step up and contribute more to the team; now, in order to avoid a resounding landslide for Roger Torres, they only provided 3 options: Wheeler (68%), Hoppenot (29%), and Fernandes (6%). And yet the majority of comments called for the wee Colombian ... that's what the propaganda editing department gets when trying to sway the vote.
I'm sorry. Should those zeros be 10, or should I read from left to right? or cry? too many choices!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah. I did see that on Facebook. I was wrong about July last year. We got a bump in July from firing Nowak and hiring Hack. It happens all the time with new coaches. I admit I probably should have said we just sucked in August. The previous years stand though. We tend to suck around this time of year.
Funny Lahoud would be the one picking on him. See Lahoud in the picture? No, well you haven't seen him on the field either have you.
Nonsense. If some little issue like being hurt stops you from getting a start then you're clearly not what this team needs* (*needs defined as being Philly Tuff and a US U-17 team alum.)
This was said 5 games ago. 2-1-2 is not bad and 4-1-0 without 95th+ goals would have been excellent. I'm just saying the Union are inconsistent, but can easily surprise.
