It really makes sense. Move all tournaments to vacation spots during the winter, and Preseason camps to start sometime in late January, early February. Season starts in early March, final games sometime in October.
It would suck for either the Ukrainian PL or the Russian PL, one of them just played an extended schedule to get their calender on track with FIFA's. So did all the academies and development programs in the stats.

If you mean places that are warm during the winter, that means no more tournaments in Europe, which will never, ever happen.

A World Cup or Euros in the snow would be awesome, mind. Of course, a natural worry would be people not being able to afford it in the build up to/aftermath of Christmas, and with winter holidays in the work place being considerably less prevalent than summer holidays, typically.

Apparently Redknapp is wheelin and dealin - going for Samba, Crouch, and then Bentley/Jenas and someone named Andros Townsend from Spurs.

Made me wiki David Bentley as I completely forgot he existed...he'd been on loan to some Russian side from Spurs. What a failure he became after Blackburn..

personally if i was Harry i would try Bellamy if he is still around and fit.

regardless of what people think of him he can clearly cut it in the league and is pacier and better than oft injured Johnson and depressed Zamora. he knows the league has done it all etc and how much is he really going to cost.

there is also Anelka if the Juventus thing falls through

He lived to as much potential as Arsenal youth usually do, more than that infact.

Another Bundesliga prospect most of people have not seen is Kevin Volland, can play as a striker, winger, 10. One to keep an eye on, another product from the famous 1860 Munich academy.

    And Kuzmanovic.

Wonder if this is the last leg for Stankovic, and maybe even Cambiasso (not sure how he's been playing lately).

Samba becomes QPR's record signing. £100,000/week in a £12.5M move.

    hope they drop.
