I know he took a pay cut, but I saw somewhere that that paycut was from 7 to 5 million p year, which United still couldn't offer. Do you maybe know his current salary?

There is no indication that Anderson will ever be a quality player let alone in midfield 2 and jones come on? Carrick has played 40 games on average for last 6 seasons this will be 7th I think , that is going to catch on him sooner or later so I give him 2 season at most at is best and that is without any injury.

Cleverley Anderson jones as our midfield options and I assume Valencia young as our wing options we won't even make top 4

    Let me see

    Edit
Even if it is 5 m pound a year ( euros mre likely) that is around 90 to 100 k per week , we can't pay that while we can pay 110 k pages to Ashely young ? Either we are stupid or mismanaged

Barcelona lethargic, sloppy still seem untroubled by Milan.

home game will be different than this. Milan will have no choice but to attack instead of just defend.

Milan have done well. Created a couple of half chances too.

    Barca's kit hurts my eyes.

I'm not talking about them as starters, but as squadies who would be able to perform if the first 2 quality options were being rested or injured. And I think Anderson/Cleverley when they get a little better would do a job against lower quality teams and other 2 starters would do their job against top teams. All I'm saying is that I don't think it would be ESSENTIAL to buy a third quality CM. And I don't know why this discussion went on because I agree that quality midfielders would be needed and number 2 or 3 is just semantics.

Milan know that they don't have a lot of chances to beat Barca in 2 legs but can hope to get lucky if they defend and score on a counter attack. They would do anything if someone offered them 0-0 in both matches and hoping to beat them on penalties.

Milan are defending well but they have nothing on the counter. Kind of pointless really.

And if they draw today which is very likely, they will have to try and win at the Nou Camp which will leave them very vulnerable.

This seems to be the most common adopted tactic against Barcelona but I don't think Milan really has the quality to pull it off.

Before the goal, Busquets lunges in two-footed on a Milan player and then acts like he was fouled and rolls around faking an injury like only Biscuits can. For me, this guy rivals Suarez for being the biggest piece of shit in football. (I don't consider JT a footballer...just a dick).
