"You looked at us and some of our young players and it was a rude awakening. Some have not had that experience of going to the Championship or League One on loan and doing the dirty work. They have been given the opportunity by a manager who believes in young players. We don't have world-class young players, I must be clear on that.

"They might find themselves playing in League One later on and they'll regret not learning.

"There are question marks [over the mentality of players] and I don't think that's just over this period. It's something which goes beyond that. It's something I am finding out about. It's a great season for learning what we have here." - BR

with Sandro being out and Parker just coming back I'm sure he'll make a good impact. if they can add a world-class striker, they set themselves up well.

So, is Holtby actually coming over now, or in the summer?

He's been training with them, so I believe he's good to start playing at the weekend.

Wow Balotelli is really moving to Milan?

Stoopid move by city, and backwards step for Mario. Lucky for him, he has no real competition for places on either club or NT.

He was a trouble maker, on big wages and not happy to be backup. Why is it a stupid move?

They get a decent fee too plus he had already not getting along with Mancini that well.

Not sure what Mancini is on.
    -----Aguero--------------------Tevez
    -------------------Silva
    -----Nasri----------------------Milner
    --------------------Barry
    Clichy---------------------------------Zabaleta
    -----------Lescott----------Garcia

Very strange unless he's playing wingbacks with Milner as RWB and Zabaleta as the 3rd CB.

Strange lineup from QPR as well. Looks like they may be playing with 5 or 6 at the back?

Cesar seems determined to gift City a goal. That's 2 mistakes he's made so far.

Milner doesn't sit. Ever. So it never even occurred to me that they would deploy him that way. I was also expecting more width from Citeh given that they are playing QPR who will sit back.

honestly, i think it's a good deal for both. city and mario needed to get away from each other.

i don't see how you can manage 4 strikers who expect to be involved in every game. now they can solidify the tevez-aguero partnership and settle dzeko in his super sub role with the occasional start. they could even properly groom a 4th striker from within.

for mario, i think milan still resonates more than city and he'll get a chance to start every game, be an integral part of their CL runs and also get every game for the NT (it's difficult to start a striker that doesn't play regular club football).

He wants too much time on the ball today. Being undone by the tempo.
