For once I'm just hoping for a good game. Its been a rough week here, on top of the obvious news the Rapids had to change their flight plans. Instead of flying straight from Toronto to Salt Lake the team came back to Colorado today for the funeral of Marisa Colaiano, who's been the head of the team's Community Relations department for 10 years. She passed away on Tuesday from complications of MS. The team will be wearing black armbands tomorrow in her memory. Combined with today's shocking news from Aurora I just hope that the players, staff, and fans can enjoy 2 hours without worry tomorrow night, regardless of the score.
I was actually a total mess all morning and I couldn't figure out why. I finally pinpointed it to the time when I heard about the Aurora thing. Too close to home--my sister's home, that is. And so senseless.
I know you guys have lived through this and the Columbine HS tragedies, but us RSL fans can have a little empathy with having the tragedy that happened at Trolley Square a few years back. It's sad situations like these that make us realize what is important in life. What happens on the field is a nice enjoyable diversion. Hopefully RSL can recognize both of the sad events of the past week for Colorado.
Colorado coming in with a very new line-up, let's hope we can put this one to rest early. Anyone have any info on the new French trialist?

HA, Kreis and Co are sitting on the opposite end of the bench tonight. Why? Because the 4th official for tonights match was the center official for last saturdays match.
