    Great picture, hehe.
The way Dameao is playing (hat trick this past weekend), I don't think Fred will be missed.

    Renato fking Abreu.

What is Mano actually watching that we're all missing? I mean seriously.

And if calling him to the squad isn't criminal enough - he starts him in the first 11!

Investigation is in order, something fishy is going on here lol.

Not too pleased with the line-up as well. What is it going to take for Lucas to get a start for this team!!! Renato Abreu f-ing blows. Also, why the hell is Kleber seeing the field. The guy hasen't played well since he left Corinthians which was about 10 yrs ago.

This looks like the projected line-up for tonight.
Jefferson, Mário Fernandes, Dedé, Rever e Kleber; Ralf, Danilo e Renato Abreu; Neymar, Leandro Damião e Ronaldinho.

I couldn't agree more. This is a slap in the face of Lucas. The kid is one of our most talented youngsters, but Mano doesn't give a chance to him even when he only called players working on brazilian soils! Plus like you said Renato was never a player of the Seleção's caliber, he shouldn't even get called and now he will start, and to make things worse, he is old and in bad form for Flamengo!

This is madness! Our main worry is that we will have less games to prepare for the WC since we won't participate on qualifiers, we have to build a team from scratch and it is not connecting well yet, and still Mano calls and uses players that will never be in the 2014 squad.

I might burst a vein soon

I agree that its really really wierd about Renato Abreu,
though its not really a slap in the face of Lucas
since they are not competing for same position.
As I said before my only idea
is that its been very successful with really physical players
against the Argies, for example Julio Baptista,
but as mentioned here Renato is passed his best....
and well Mano seems way out on deep water,
is he really trying to prove a point of his own
    here of some sort....

I actually don't agree with u guys on who should play instread of him :D I'd start Oscar over Lucas pretty easily in that position, Lucas is a wide player nowadays imo and as Trix said competes with Dinho and Neymar for a starting spot.

Anyways, hopefully he keeps the kids for when they play at home without the more hostile crowd around them.

Still doesn't justify calling up Renato Abreu though.

Neymar with the nice play dribbling past 2 players and crossing to Damiao who hits the post with the goal wide open. Honestly I expected Neymar to shoot there. The cross was pretty strong so can't blame Damiao too much for missing.

Esse jogo e' completamente inutil. Nao sei que tipo de conclusoes ou coisas positivas que o Mano possa tirar desse jogo ... a nao ser que Ronaldinho, como assim como um museu, so vive do seu passado.

Yet another terrible game by our Seleção, a trend during this Mano era.

Jefferson was okay, he didn't have that much trouble but was secure when needed.

The CB partnership was good, minus a few slip ups here and there, understandable because of lack of entrosamento.

Danilo was pretty annonymous on his specialty: supporting, otherwise he was ok.

Kleber was simply ATROCIOUS. Was invisible in the second half, so he got a bit better.

The DMF partnership did their job reasonably well: destroying and marking. Too bad that neither can pass the ball.

Renato Abreu, surprise surprise, was a complete nullity. Mano is a genius!

Neymar and Ronaldinho were our only hope of creating anything, they linked up pretty well at times, but Neymar lacked ambition (he didn't try to shoot) and Ronaldinho's feet wasn't calibrated today so all but one of his free kicks/ Corners was dangerous.

Damião was starved, unfortunately, because on one of his only touches of the ball he produced the best play in the match, beautiful lambreta + chip, almost a golaço. Was also unlucky to hit the post earlier after a good play by Neymar. If our midfield could set him up more often... But no, we have two DMFs that can't pass and... Renato Abreu.

Oscar improved our team visibly, tried a few passes here and there, he really needed to start this game

    Casemiro didn't have much time.

Overall the team lacked teamwork, speed, etc etc... Nothing new. Mano had the guts to scream by the sidelines by the end of the game that we needed to rush them more, be more offensive, but it's not like he has a youngster with blood on his eyes, hungry to get a chance to show that he is a specialist at charging and dribbling and you know, being aggressive, something our midfield really lacks, by his side on the bench. Too bad.

    Wow...just...wow...

Damiao's "thing" is so great we can't even name it. We can't even perform that on PES 2012 or FIFA 2012....holy shit! :D

But acceptable game from the team. The selecao definetly needs to be based off from our league again with a few "Euro" reinforcements. The "Euro" players aren't so great that their tiredness can be overlooked.

Ok...if we get rid of Mano, who would we put? Zico? Felipao?

Again, Not really sure what Mano has against Lucas, but to put in Renato Abreau, sub in Oscar, Casemiro and still have 1 more substitution and not put in Lucas is mind boggling. This F-ing coach has gone bananas. He stated before the game that he wanted to start Ralf and Paulinho bc they have chemistry together and good ball control. WTF is he thinking. They looked awful and had ZERO ball control.

It’s become pretty clear that if Neymar has a good game then team has a good game. Unfortunately he was average imo. Ronaldinho looked like an 85 year old man out there. Best thing that happened was when Renato came out and he dropped back to receive the ball and then we created chances.

Kleber....Well, we all know this has to be a joke and he's not even worthy of an opinion.

Damiao merecia gol de placa em Cordoba!!!

The midfield was just awful. I saw a few times players accidentally stepping on the ball and losing balance. Very amateurish stuff.

Lucas on the bench and not coming in at all is a joke. Starting to seriously doubt Mano's motives.

TBH they should be able to imo.

Would love to see Montillo, D'Alessandro, Lanzini, Guinazo etc. they're practically like players playing in Argentina, and would make the game more competitive.

Why don't they make the rules very specific? I am sure the cup is played to see Brazilian and Argentinian teams that doesn't depend on Euro mercenaries.

Simply put, just state that the Roca Cup can only be played with players currently participating in South American leagues. [IMG]
