    I remember that when Raul started his enthusiasm was just infectious. If something didn't work, then he tried something else, but he always tried. His finishing was sub-par (he was only 17), but he compensated it by running like a demon and trying a whole range of options.

    I get nothing of that from Soldado. He is a proficient goal scorer, like Portillo, but sometimes that isn't enough to cut it, like Portillo.
