Nov. 26-28 Hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now, for futbol!!! Friday Independiente v Estudiantes Saturday Lanús v Racing; Rosario Central v Instituto; Colón v Banfield; San Lorenzo v Almagro Sunday Gimnasia v Arsenal; Huracán v Argentinos Jrs; Olimpo v Quilmes; Boca v Newell's; Vélez v RIVER Boca-Newell's is the FSE game.
Re: Nov. 26-28 Thats for sure...I just hope Ortega atleast scores a few goals. By the way Next week Estudiantes plays Velez both institutiones are friends meanning I think or know it will be an eazy win for Estudiantes. Last match of the tournament is Independiente vs Newells and also these two clubs are friends I am sure Independiente will not make an effort to ruin it for their friends,Newells. Those that know Argentinean soccer for awhile and know about the institutiones will agree with me...... Its all good the way has been playing this tournament nenevr thought we will have a chance but now we are playing good and find ourselves with possibilities of coming out champs, again.

Re: River Plate: News & comments Ugh. Terrible result. Did any of you guys know that there was a TyC channel on DirectTV?
Re: River Plate: News & comments Bassi ********!!!! That's twice in this Apertura he's screwed us. First against Banfield when Costanzo had control of the ball and was ran into by the Banfield player, and now sending off "La Gata" for what I was told, was a yellow card, not a red.
Velez-River - Final Vélez Sarsfield 1 - 0 River Plate Starters Franco Costanzo; Javier Gandolfi - Cristian Nasuti - Eduardo Tuzzio - Lucas Mareque; Javier Mascherano - Cristian Ledesma - Luis González; Gastón Fernández - Marcelo Gallardo - Maximiliano López Replacements Nelson Cuevas For López 62' Jairo Patiño for Ledesma 69' José Sand for Gandolfi 69' Red card Gaston Fernández Leonardo Astrada was also sent off.
Re: River Plate: News & comments Steve Sampson, coach of the LA Galaxy, is in Argentina scouting players at River Plate. Who are the top players playing in the Reserves or just out of the First Team that could catch the eye of Sampson and be possible Galaxy players next season? Is Andres Aimar half as good as his brother?
Re: River Plate: News & comments que tristesa como fracaso patino en el river. era un jugadoraso en newells como que no es capas de jugar bajo la presion de la hinchada mas grande de argentina.
Re: River Plate: News & comments at least a former gallina is going to be champ! edit: two including the coach!
Re: River Plate: News & comments I dont understand why,the other day in a game they were broadcasting they were saying that Patiño in the practices that he does awesome and that he scores great gols but I guess when its game time he doesnt have what it takes to play ina big team,en Newells there isnt as much pressure as it is to play in River but whatever I still have some hope for him and maybe next year could be very well be his year, just have to wait and see.
