Indeed, we apparently owe a lot of money. They are considering to bring the case to FIFA?

Oh god.. and here we were hoping that D'Alessandro, Belluschi, and Aimar would come.

We need money fast. I say cash in on Funes Mori, Affranchino, and Ferrero.

Oh yeah about Ferrero, we owe him quite of a bit too! :D
He's probably not the only one.

But we know all that the pasivo is 250 million pesos but if we sell Funes Mori for about 8,5 million euros free of taxes that brings in about 45 million pesos. The sales of Ferrero,Vega and Affranchino should bring in enough to buy Dalessandro. The Internacional president has invited River to negotiate after all.
Aguilar left the club in a mess and Passarella has to a lot of juggling to improve things bit lets be honest Pavone,Roman,Acevedo and Carrizo have been light years ahead of Aguilars efforts.
Anyway as things improve which they are this debt will begin to seem small. So be optimistic the only player we need to bring the team up a level is Nico.
BTW Angeleri could be joining on loan from Sunderland which would be aserious signing

Mauro Diaz could be leaving too: a couple clubs are after him, including U de Chile.

He should be loaned out, not sold.

Ferrero came out and said he doesn't want to leave:

I also think he got paid recently, not to mention that Passarella paid him out of his own pocket last june. Interestingly enough, the player we owe the most money to is Ortega

Who reported it on twitter? Castillo? I hope its true!

It appears there are some complications with Funes Mori's transfer, and for now, it doesn't look like he'll be going anywhere. Supposedly there is some confusion as to who his agent is and there are also reports that Passarella is asking for $10 million palos verdes for him.

In my honest opinion, this isn't very good news. I am one who thinks the kid should be sold so that we could at least bring in a couple players. Plus, it looks like there are some problems with Libertad of Paraguay, who we owe money to for Roman's transfer.

Once again, smoke was blown up our asses into believing that former Riverplatenses abroad(Saviola, Aimar, Demichelis, Belluschi, D'Alessandro) would return to play for the club in January. Now, it doesn't appear none of them will.:(

Look i dont want to sound like an ass, but did you believe that? I mean, we have no money, and on the top of that, we owe a lot of money even before thinking of bringing refuerzos, meaning if we sell, all the money received from any kind of transfer will be dedicated to pay first our debts and then maybe refuerzos.

Let's just say I was somewhat optimistic that Passarella would've convinced at least one of them to return. He was able to work some magic and bring back Carrizo, along with Pavone for the Apertura, but you're right, the situations with the players he mentioned are much different than Pavone's and Carrizo's. All of the players he mentioned are integral parts to their respective clubs. Well except Demichelis, but as we saw, he was welcomed with open arms by Pellegrini at Malaga.

It's frusturating as hell though, cause I firmly believe the club is only a couple of players away from making a run at the Clausura next year.
