Why hasn't Cavenaghi taken any of the freekicks ever since he scored a FK goal not long ago? All of Chori's go straight to the wall and are a waste of an opportunity.

Can we at least score a goal so we can depend on ourselves in the last game? Ughh..

Sometimes it feels as if they're purposely doing everything wrong just to make us suffer.. you can't make this stuff up.

Dominguez and Trezeguet total disasters.I cant believe we have to suffer so much with these boludos. Its obvious Ledesma should be with Cirigliano if Ponzio is on the right. This is perhaps worse than Belgrano.Unbelievable.I am so sad with this to think of all the freat players who have worn this shirt and to see the clowns who soil it now!

There are rumors that grondona told anibal fernandez that "esos hijos de puta no ascienden mas"

    I'm starting to believe.

If river doesn't ascend I'm going to stop watching futbol.

    ¿Que podemos hacer? que tristesa!
The First thing that must be ensured is to avoid the lunacy as against Belgrano and Boca Unidos. The hinchada barra and all must support the team 100% next week against Almirante. The possibility is one of the other two may fail if we win but the crowd on the back of this team will make us fail. The hinchada have a role now as important as the team.We must forget our pride and support these boludos as if they were La Maquina. Its our only hope

I feel lost. I mean my whole life river was something I loved and enjoyed... It was 2 hours every week I was mesmerized by the elegance of el Enzo, the dribbling of el Burrito, the huevos of Astrada and Doaz, the golazos of Salas, the excitement of Saviola, Aimar, and Angel... It was something i looked forward to every week...But now this is just a terrible feeling

Even worse than against Belgrano... After Belgrano we all came together to achieve the goal to go back... But another year in the B is just unthinkable... I can't remember the last time I was excited to watch river play...

Now I feel like I almost don't even care about Sundays game... It's just kind of like eh if we win we have to have a playoff y la concha de tu madre all boys

Listen pibe we dont often agree but in the most important thing we are Riverplatenses 100%.All of us have to support this team next week and if we win its possible one of the other two will mess up and will ascend.Anyway we have to win and we ahve to support the team its our team, our club, and like all institutions we have bad times. Its hard really hard now as the bosta go for everything but together we will get out of this hell divided we will stay there.

Yes now we depend on ourselves again, but thats not exactly reassuring and right now Almirante Brown is destroying Boca Unidos 3-0, a team we barely beat with 2 late goals...

So im far from confident especially with Almeyda on the bench.

Central's loss today is far from guaranteeing us direct promotion, but it is such a relief. We do, however, have the hardest game of the "fighting four" in the last round:

    1. River: 70 (last game vs. Alte. Brown - 6th placed)
    2. Instituto: 70 (last game vs. Ferro - 9th)
    3. Central: 69 (last game vs. Desamparados - 18th)
    4. Quilmes: 69 (last game vs. Brown (M) - 16th)

We MUST win next weekend, there's no way around it. The power is back in our hands. Si la cagan son una manga de muertos que no estan a la altura de la camiseta.

At this point after 37 games of shitty play I feel it's pointless to analyze the system or strategy. The players need to put ********ing huevos and the hinchada and the borrachos need to support them and then just pray for a victory like against boca unidos. God cannot hate us that much can he? We need to win this

The only part of strategy I would say is I'd be tempted to put Ledesma in. He is the only player we have capable of slowing the game, keeping possession, and passing the ball. I want him for Aguirre

The defense and GK are just hopeless, any FK they get near our area is 70% certain to be a goal... So we just need to not foul... This week is going to be agonizingly long I'm already nervous

    http://www.riverplate.com/Noticias/...3605-podrian-volver-vella-y-el-maestrico.html

Why?? And why for THIS game?? Fucking shit, why can't they put damn politics aside for a minute and play Abecasis for once!

Win or lose Almeyda must go

And I know this next statement isn't popular on this board, but Passarella needs to go too. He has yet to hire a competent tecnico. And this has nothing to do with Passarella vs Aguilar or anything, it's just clear DAP can't put his ego aside to hire a competent coach and he keeps letting politics get in the way of selections

On top of that, he has no contact with the fans. Someone died in the stadium and still no word from our president. I'm sorry if you disagree but I'm being as objective as I can be. Yes we did have some good reinforcements, but through 37 games we aren't oascended yet and the team is shit and the barra is rampant... Killing people and beating the real fans by entering the San Martin... I am a socio of the club and I can tell you la joda no se acabo

And please don't tell me Aguilar was worse this has nothing to do with that... It's that Passarella isn't getting the job done.

Samething with my opinion of Cristina. Yes I know she is better than the military dictators and the country is better than in 2001!

I just don't think we should settle for mediocrity in our club! (just like the president of our country)

DAP as president has been mediocre at best and the situation with the barra first threatening pezzota now killing this poor boy... He says nothing ab ianything... Where is he? The presidents of the other clubs are always communicating with their fans and socios, the only one we hear from is Turnes

So yes I am 100% behind the club, but the whole idea that the descenso was going to serve as a rebirth has been proven false... We have a few star players, but a shit team, shit coach, skeptical selections based on political and agents rather than performance, and worst of all unsafe environment in the stadiums
