    I'm probably alone in saying "Gracias Almeyda". No one was willing to take the job after J.J. No one was willing to take the pressure of the very demanding task of immediate promotion. With an almost new squad in his first yearend coaching he did well in my opinion.

    Well I wouldn't say no one was willing to take the spot.. Ramon wanted to return and several other coaches offered their services. With that said, I still appreciate his balls and courage to take the team in a tough moment and, despite me not agreeing with a lot of his decisions, you could tell he's really put his all from the first minute. For that, GRACIAS Pelado!

    Don't misunderstand me though, I still think we need a new coach if we want to start fighting for BIG things again.

    Bue, tampoco para tanto.. como vas a contar esto como titulo? Celebro la vuelta del mas grande, pero esto NO es un campeonato.. eso esta claro.

    Well now that that is over with.....

    Welcome to a new year fellows! here's to a good season of transfers, and as much as it now hurts me to say it, hopefully a new técnico. I love Almeyda for so many obvious reasons, but this just isnt the job for him at this current juncture.

    un poco de alegria pero sobre todo alivio.
    River is back back to where we should be.I would keep Almeyda,Chori,Cavenaghi,Ponzio and Trezeguet even though I have criticized them all they have shown true huevos in disastrous circumstances.I dont think.we should go mad buying or selling players.But we do need a goalkeeper,left back(Orban back from Tigre?)right sided midfielder(Carbonero?)

    A red shirt that is supposedly our new away jersey has been circulating online for a couple weeks now.. that one looks much better, IMO (that is, if it actually is official).
