I have not been posting much in the last little while. Things going kind of nuts in my life right now but just because I did not post, did not mean I did not feel his loss.
Mario Coluna was the "column" of the best Benfica team ever. His strength, pass ability, positioning, was one of the major keys to help Benfica to be the best all-around European Cup team for a full decade. Champions from Scotland, Hungary, Denmark, England, Austria, Spain, West Germany, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Bulgaria, France, Italy, "knew" what Benfica meant. For a reason, the gods were kind enough to put Eusébio and Coluna in the same team for years. Coluna was like a father to Eusébio, in and out field. For a reason that gods only know, they passed away real close in time. If Benfica wins the championship this season, i will not celebrate. Benfica lost the two best players of its long History, so this a sad season, no matter what.
