Shockingly sad. To say he will be missed here is an understatement. I can only imagine how sad for those who knew him.

 

I'd just fb friended him last week on a correct guess of his avatar, and found out that he was going to have some sort of heart surgery. I sure wasn't expecting this to happen. Damn... first Ross from St. Paul, now Chico. Rest in peace.

 

You'll be missed, Chico. RIP.

From the looks of his FB timeline, between March 2 and March 4- I didn't see his FB page after mid Feb until March 4. I knew he wasn't well, but I wasn't expecting that... almost beginning to think I ought not FB anybody else. I've lost three friends in two years or so, and only Chico was over 50. I never thought I'd really lose sleep over it, but there's something in seeing people's usernames on recent posts that fools you into thinking they'll always be posting.

This sucks. Chico was a great guy. Definitely enjoyed reading his posts.

 

Rarely does a visit to bigsoccer leave me feeling worse than I felt. This is one of those times.

Edit: I just checked. He posted last night around 7:30. Sigh.

 

Chico as in the guy I was bantering with yesterday? Lordy.

 

We're all poorer today.

Chico will not be forgotten.
