Hey! Sorry if I'm missing this, or if it's old news to everyone else. I slide out of the loop.

Anyway, is there a date for the Riders General Meeting? I'd like to make it, if I can. I don't want to miss the vote on "Metros" sucking in perpetuity...

We should have the details out in the next week. We're currently just trying to find a place that's T accessible.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply!

So it's not going to be at that go-cart place?

That building was razed. If anyone has any suggestions, we'd appreciate them.

That way a rider who will remain nameless can get 6 lap dances at the sametime as the meeting!:)

So we're suspending Riders operations until 2015? I've glad I haven't given Monty my ten bucks yet ;)

I don't know how well that would work.

Doyle's is a pretty busy place.

I'm not sure how big the back room is either.

Has to be a space that holds between 50-100 (we've had about 75-80 the last couple of years IIRC). I have no idea how many the PL's upstairs could hold.

If people are willing to call these places, let them know we'd be looking at about 2-2.5 hours (max), and anywhere from 50-100 people ... ? Let me know if anyone's willing.

Here's the problem ... we're currently looking at potentially $500 - $1,000 for a meeting space at a hotel. That's just not funds we'd really like to use, so if anyone knows of a place... :(

That's a tiny tiny room. I watched a US game with thecastigador there once. Not going to work for us.

    That's a little better.

So i just called Doyles in JP (not tommy doyles, but the one PBI and fran were talking about) and their back room hold well over 100 people (they can seat around 90, but standing is around 140).

They hold these kinds of events all the time. I have sent monty a PM with all of the details and owner contact info. They can even set up a buffet for us. If the price fits this may be a good option.

It is also NOT 21 plus so all of our little rider friends would be welcome
