Is it just me, or does it seem like we have begun to talk of Donovan like we did of Reyna? Half will say, "We don't need Donovan. He rarely makes an impact." And the other half will say, "You're nuts; he's our best player ever."

Is it Arena's system that makes our "best player" disappear? Is it coincidence that our 'saviors' were/are both thought of as a players that disappear from games? Or, is it simply that we expect so much from these two players that when they don't make an impact they are easily singled out?

I would assume that it is no secret our offense goes through those two players shutng them down shuts down our offense. Maybe the system puts them in close proximity to too many oposing players.

Get rid of both of them. If they can't score, which they CAN'T, get rid of them! Mathis and Adu is what we need, not these two wankers!

I am sick and damned tired of Donovan, but the sad truth is that there is no one to possibly replace him. We are stuck with Doucheovan until he decides to man up or retire.

Oh please. Landon is one of the more gifted players we have. There's no way he can play well with a 4-5-1 formation with Reyna playing in the same exact position. Such BS.

    Gifted, yes. Courageous ? No.

He hid behind defenders all day yesterday. When he got the ball, he looked to pass, even if the shot was available and the pass was incredibly low percentage. I used to think he one-touched his passes so often because of creativity. While he certainly can be creative, I think the reason he one touchs is that HE DOES NOT WANT THE BALL ON HIS FEET.

He does not have the personality to be the linch-pin of a team. He never will. He will be a bit player on the International stage.

    We need to move on...
