Yes, I blame the team "leaders". Shalrie, Benny, and Matt should be leading this effort. I noticed that Shalrie, Benny, and even Tierney (been here for longer than most), walked directly to the locker room on Wednesday night, too. Matt hung around the field to receive accolades for his 100th win, but I don't think he saluted the fans at all. I can't judge based on a single game, but it seems to be a pattern for the older players to get into the locker room quickly. The leaders of the effort to salute the fans on Wednesday night were the two 2nd year central defenders.

Reis did come down to the Fort and then proceeded to acknowledge everyone else along the sidelines on the locker room side. I thought Shalrie came down too. Heaps definitely did, but as this was the first game I've made this season I'm not sure if that is something new for him (guessing not).

You're right though that Soares and McCarthy were the first ones to come down.

Ngyuen came by, way way late, though, as we were packing up the flags. Maybe a dozen of us were there for that. Maybe
