Well hopefully we can draw 0-0 because were not going to score with a 10-man lineup with no striker.

    Bench is:
    Stephen McCarthy
    Fernando Cardenas
    Bobby Shuttleworth
    Björn Runström
    Saer Sene
    Diego Fagundez
    Darrius Barnes

I'm guessing that Runstrom is not fit enough to go 90, especially at altitude, and as they just said, Sene is a bit under the weather.

You must mean 9-man lineup with no striker and no left back.

EDIT: And that's if you count the ghost of Shalrie Joseph

Ok, time to pull Tierney. Seriously. Anything is better than this. I'd rather have Fagundez back there.

Why would that change? He's still the worst player in our starting 11.

He's sharing the honors with Shalrie. No, seriously. Shalrie and Tierney are the new Wells and Khano.

That's a young, 2nd year player, who's still trying to find his feet in the league. I agree he didn't look good, especially in his first game, but I've had trouble believing the amount of vitriol that's been poured on a young player by fans of his own team.

Let's just hope this isn't his 'Schilawski hat trick moment', showing something good once, and never again. Though I'd say a goal against RSL in Utah is better than 3 against that Toronto team that day. I just remember thinking that they could have pulled a fan from the stands and gotten him/her a goal if they played her up front in that game.

First a 2 arm shove, but you forgot to mention that he also pushes the ball to the ground in front of him with his arm as well. Take your pick on which call to make.

Does the altitude make Tierney look even slower?

specially since the third goal was actually an own goal. i liked schilawski but i never saw him hit a ball like the one Brettschneider just hit.

ok 45 mins down, away at RSL and its a respectable 1-1. That said, they look like crap. Everyone seems to be a step slower. Big props to Brettschnieder for making the most of this start. I think this is a game we could see Diego in the second half. He has not played in a while. If its still 1-1 in the 70th, Jay should be looking to use all his player and take the 1pt on the road

Tierney's been skinned alive about five or six times. Is Barnes any faster? I'm doing ok with Lozano so far, especially that lil "nudge" against Espindola's breakaway. I imagine a different result if McCarthy were there.

Speaking of which, our D has been giving away way too many breakaways; they better seal up.

I'd say that if it's still 1-1, they'd replace BB with Runstrom, who's more fit for a single striker role, and that we'd only see Diego if they were down and wanted to go with 2 forwards. It would also depend on how Sene is feeling as well.

also like that Lozano didn't quit on the play -- he briefly raised his arm and then caused Espindola down and pressured him just enough -- well done.
