I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. I'm all tingly!

Edit: Just a note. All credit to them for trying to create hype, if that is indeed what is happening. It's just a matter of battle fatigue under the Burns administration.

The Revs have not said a word about this. Only the agent has mentioned anything, and he hasn't directly said it was the Revs signing someone, only implied it.

Sounds like it could be a former Man United academy player. A 5'8" Central Midfielder? Just what we need!

It seems that @s_hewson15's agent claims to have a big announcement with the @NERevolution tomorrow. He nearly moved to MLS in 2010. #Revs

Extensive google trolling. I can't find any decent lists, just random references. Chances are he has dozens, I just found a couple hits.

Daniel Essien Etor is my shot in the dark guess. He appears to be a playmaking midfielder, Nigerian International, can play out wide as well. He's a free agent and has interest from a number of top Nigerian Premier League teams as of 5 days ago. 20 years old.

If this is in fact the Revs making a significant signing I like the timing---early in the offseason
My money is on this being a defender

I feel like there's a signed contract but now the Revs FO is too scared too announce it. They need 3 lawyers to view it after the fact to make sure it's real.

Hopefully we get some good news before Thanksgiving. No more Moreno situations please.

Just a rumor... heard that at least two MLS teams had been doing their due diligence on Ghanian midfielder Stephen Appiah before he agreed to terms with a team in Iran, of all places. That deal fell through, and he could be back on MLS radar screens. Might be a fit in Foxboro, but the injury history concerns me.

Doubt it. I believe the agent said this was a "full international". Brandy last appeared in an England shirt for a youth team three years ago.

The rest of the Revs' "declined options" have come out. None are huge surprises - Brettschneider, Purdie and Roach in addition to Lechner.
