For us to become a competitive and powerful club, it is obvious the salary cap will be an issue. Considering we have been turning a profit for a while, and should turn an unprecedented one this year....what about adjusting the salary cap for teams making more money, allowing some of our money spent as fans to be reinvested back into the team we are supporting? maybe, just maybe if this comes into place, we will be able to sign peter vagenes to a long term contract.

In all seriousness, I'm not quite sure how profit sharing is structured now, but it would be good if the league raised the salary cap some and allowed at least some portion of a team's salary cap space to go into its purse, as well as added a second DP slot - oh i don 't know - let's call it a domestic DP. This would allow larger revenue generating teams to have some advantage over smaller revenue teams, but in return smaller revenue teams could gain some sort of financial stability by voluntarily operating below the salary cap and/or signing DPs frugally (you know a cheap $900,000 DP). Or maybe small market teams could be allowed to trade one of their DP spots for a yearly fee.
