It was fun seeing Ronaldo troll last night. Pepe was doing his usual trolling too. Guy is a natural at it now.

He pretty much confirmed he went on the pitch to insult him. AS has direct quotes.

Javi Martinez has gained official emo status, his comments on AS sound like something a little girl would say.

"Your season and job is over except for previously belittled Copa del Rey, but I have celebration to attend and preparations to make for Munich, when my Chelsea will win Champions League. If they succeed, it is because of me. If they fail, Rafa Benitez and Andre Villas-Boas are to blame."

Lol. I can definately picture Mou saying this.

Hazard were at the Manchester derby fueling the City rumours. God, they sure do have some financial muscles don't they.

Also, Martinez sounds like a bit ch. Even Torres has more merit to his World Cup medal and Torres did ******** all.

Battersea will always remind me of the greatness of Animals. Wonder what Roger Waters will say?

I don't think that is a design for a football stadium.

lol will keep most of the main original buildings/architecture (chimneys etc), will be very unique and hold 60,000.

At least it's better than all these other new stadiums popping up, they all look like clones of each other

Where is the pitch though? I'm just trying to make sense of the picture. It looks like a narrowish building, and then the structure goes straight up from the original path. I'm just struggling to picture it.

    Those chimneys look horrible.

I've since read that the design shown was an artistic impression of what re-developing the Battersea area might look like, but not a design of any planned new stadium.

I wasn't debating whether it would fit length ways, because that's obvious. Width wise, though, the current stadium looks maybe slightly bigger than the current building. If you then factor in the stands and how they lean back to accommodate fans, and look at the design, the design actually shows the highest point of the building closest to the pitch before taking a big step down. Add that and the apparent roof, and I just don't it as a football stadium design.

If they use the current pitch dimensions they got at the Bridge(105x68m) there will still be another 100m for the stands (BSP is 170x160)

Agree, it looks like a factory. Never mind having the opportunity to go for a swim directly next to a football stadium (where massive amounts of alcohol are being consumed) is a pretty bad idea in my opinion.

AVB to Roma is the word on the street. Enrique out already, eh? Won't AVB have the same issues at Roma as he had with Chelsea?

You kinda hope he'll learn from his mistakes. You can't just ditch half the starters and rebuild from scratch. AVB needs to win over the locker room before he makes drastic changes. It will be really interesting to see how he handles Totti after what happened at Chelsea.
