I find it very confusing to come across a number of posts where people seem to be randomly talking about/to something/someone. On most occasions it turns out they're replying to a user whose content/posts I'm ignoring.
It would be quite helpful if such quoted content would be marked as 'ignored content' when being used in a reply that's quoting the ignored user, instead of not showing anything of the ignored user at all.
I hope this small improvement is not too much to ask. Thanks!

I hope this is being looked into and someone's fixing the problem...

Would be really really awesome if someone fixed this.

It's still super weird to read completely random posts, that turn out to be replies to ignored content.

I never thought of this, but it would be a wonderful upgrade, to have ignored users' posts disappear from others' quotes as well. But I don't know if it's even possible.

Sometimes I see a "click here to view posts by" or something similar, located on the lower bottom of each page in a thread.

Yep, it let's the user reveal the 'ignored content', but it defies the whole idea of ignoring other users. Besides you don't know where the ignored content is being hidden, thus where it will appear.

    That's why I would propose a 'mute/unmute' functionality.
