When was the last time we played a match in Cleveland?

I'd imagine the Venezuela friendly right before the 2006 World Cup.

So this on the 29th, Germany on the 2nd, Jamaica on the 7th, Panama on the 11th and Honduras on the 18th. I wonder if this will be another 5 game "mini tournament" like we had last year?

Could the friendlies be for the Gold Cup Roster? That seems crazy to drop 2 friendlies in close to the Hex qualies.

Meh we played 3 before the qualifying round last year. Plus there's 5 weeks between this and the Gold Cup. It's a bit early for pre tourney friendlies

Well, since it worked so well leading into the semi games last summer, why not run the team into the ground ahead of the Hex as well?

Sorry, but this is a stupid and unnecessary money grab if it's happening.

I don't mind a couple prep matches before 3 critical qualifiers. I'm just a bit worried by injury

I'd mind if JK drives them into the ground again due to some random notion that our team isn't fit, leaving us out of gas for said critical qualifiers.

Don't forget Benteke, Dembele, Defour, Simons, Mignolet too.

And I assume most will. This looks like their last A-list friendly before the summer vacations.

Belgium has a WCQ vs. Serbia on June 7. I'd imagine they'll use this somewhat as a prep for that game, probably have like a week long camp here as well.
