    Juninho has officially retired.

One of the biggest professionals I've ever seen play, this guy would rather sit out a game if he's not feeling 100% ready to play, he would also rather sit out a game if he believes his team needs another player at his position. I hope he takes care of Bom Senso FC for the continuation of the year and years to come, maybe one day we'll see him in front of CBF, God knows we need people like him there.

Extremely competitive and an example of how a football player should behave and take care of himself.

But.. I'll end with a quote from Juninho about 2006 Selecao

"talvez tenhamos perdido a noção da força de trabalho"

This is seriously the first time I've seen a player admit that a group took a competition lightly.

NotreDameFlamengo and Radu Razvan repped this.

I wonder how Sport fans feel about him as he made no effort to try to play there again.

He mentioned Sport on his press conference. He says he's very grateful for them but he is a Vascaino since he was a kid and wanted to play only for Vasco in Brazil.
