He has always been a headcase. Rumor has it that Vucetich is tired of him and this is why he is on the outs. He is still a quality player. The question I have is, does this mean a more likely sale of Fabian? Because I've heard that floated around.
So let's say they're both creative midfielders, though I don't think folks have wanted teams built around Reyna like Chivas fans feel about Fabian. I think they could still both coexist in various formations, in multiple ways in a 4-2-3-1 (most likely with Fabian in the middle), in a 4-4-1-1 (with Fabian as the withdrawn forward), in a narrow 4-4-2, etc. I have more trouble seeing how JVS would use them, given how stubborn he is using Fabian as a forward in the 4-3-3. He'd either use them both as forwards (benching Chapo), or move one to the midfield (Lucho doesn't get benched, so then benching Pato?).
ps- San Cadilla is tweeting that the Reyna holdup is because of bonuses (primas). Since Chivas doesn't usually hand them out, he wants a bump in his salary. Getting close ...
Alonso Cabral V @Alonso_Cabral Jesús Martínez, Presidente del #León, confirma que #Chivas quiere a Carlos "Gullit" Peña... "Si lo quieren pero es muy difícil que salga"
Reyna can play on right...replacing Chapo Fabian in the middle... I think we should also go after Pinto.
If we cant bring in Gullit than I'd make the trade for Cabrera. We need someone like him to move the team around. In my opinion its easier to replace a gk than to have a player with Cabrera's skills.
it's looking more and more likely that Reyna will be coming to Chivas as much as it sucks to have a Wila on our team, it won't be the first time. and besides, i think he'll be an improvement over Pina. poor Pina has not been the same since 2008/2009. seems that all those injuries he's picked up have traumatized him and caused him to limit himself. looking back, remember Oswaldo came from Atlas to America then to Chivas. and he ended up turning into one of all time greatest players. and the way i see it, Reyna still has a bone to pick with America after the way he was treated, so i have a gut feeling that he'll tear it up with us.
Reyna is not going to the Mundial de Clubes http://www.cancha.com/aplicacionesl...m/aplicaciones/articulo/default.aspx?id=97824
Reyna is definitely a good addition in terms of skill, but I hope his attitude doesn't ******** up our locker room. Still hoping for Herrera/Pena/Cabrera, Pulido/Peralta/Orozco, Ayala/Mier/Jimenez/Meza/Maza.
Reynoso's spot will be taken by an Orange Cone. Vant Schip already used one in practice and Arellano couldn't dribble around it.
Marco Cancino @MarcoCancino El segundo refuerzo de Chivas sería Javier "chuletita" Orozco, aunque aquí la máquina quiere al pato Araújo... Es lo que esta en negociacion
if that's the case, then i say we let Pato go. he hasn't improved much in the last couple of years and is prone to making harsh fouls that leads to yellow/red cards. starting DMs should be Chaton & Lucho anyway. and plus, we got Gallardo on the bench who i have liked. hopefully the rumors of Gallardo being sent off to Chivas USA is bullshit.
Borgetti, Jose luis cuidachambas real, efrain flores, chepo worked with lapuente and came back going the other way benjamin galindo, don't know or care to list them all but that bridge was crossed a long time ago.
